Simple and easy to use etl tool

What do you like best about the product?
I think, it's very easy tool to learn and use. With few minutes of hands on can make anyone up and running. Easy to build pipelines,schedule and monitor in dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sbaplogic UI could have been better. User gets logged out very frequently.
Also it's not very responsive. Takes huge time to load designer page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am building and etl pipelines which ingest data to Hadoop from different sources systems in both real time and batch fashion

What do you like best about the product?
I love how your can very easily (once you have figured it out) create pipelines with snaps to create tables, google sheets, send emails, etc. This makes my job easier as an operations analyst because I am able to have daily reports run automatically to different teams so they can use data to grow their teams and be more productive. Things that I used to manually done and now done and ready to go by the team I get into work each day, leaving me more time to focus on other aspects of my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I am struggling trying to build something out, there isn't a great way to reach out to a community of SnapLogic users to see how they were able to solve the problem. Also, I find it hard to use the `Help` functionality to truly understand what a snap does, so I would like for more examples to be shown on what each snap actually does and how I could use it in my every day work flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used pipelines to build a daily data dump for a team at my company to be able to analyze their own books of business and help them to retain a higher renewal rate. Also, I use this a lot of pull in data from My SQL Workbench and to create tables and send email triggers to members at our company to assist the in their daily reporting for their respective teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a very good product to simplifying automations

MY experience about snaplogic

What do you like best about the product?
The best part i like about snaplogic is high throughput in handling any number of documents, in addition to the ease at which the pipelines can be designed. Its something which is made for fast and reliable development.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the stuff in snaplogic becomes a little tough for debugging. And the touch doesn't work properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GDPR deletion and access request automation for my product. The throughput that can be achieved is awesome. The minimal efforts needed to modify the pipeline when changes need to be made is great. The integration of snaplogic to have snaplexes related to other softwares is really useful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Debugging in snaplogic can be made easier as compare to the present situation.

What do you like best about the product?
Provides variety of snaps to connect to all end points which in turn makes the development effort much faster.
Having very rich expression libraries which make anything to achieve via expressions and scripts.
Having good UI which makes development easier. Also for Management and Monitoring purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to increase the stability after release. However, the number of failures after each release is came down now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using SnapLogic to connect to variety of systems residing in both on-premise and cloud. We realized time saving effort in using snapLogic. If creating a project using Java takes 1 week of effort, then the same can be achieved within a day using SnapLogic.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool will be very intuitive for anyone versed in ETL tools. The flows are easy to understand

I have experienced regression on a few updates that has negatively affected my customers.

What do you like best about the product?
The SnapLogic console and its debugging capabilities make it a pleasure to develop integration pipelines between multiple systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
* The Management UI capabilities are still being developed and there are issues that could use improvement
* Ultra pipeline thread usage on groundplexes is high: one thread is consumed _per snap in an Ultra pipeline_
* Versioning capabilities of SnapLogic pipelines could use improvement
* No integration with DVCS other than Github
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Real-time Integration with Salesforce systems
development of third party integrations can be relegated to an external system with the benefits of monitoring capabilities provided by SnapLogic
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared for a learning curve, but once you're over the hump it should be fun developing pipelines with SnapLogic

The product is still not mature. We encounter sometimes silly issues in the product.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use front-end application. Overall it's fairly easy to pick up
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get very technical at times and troubleshooting isn't as straight forward
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data integrations from ERP to a CRM software.
Once you setup a pipeline from one ERP, it's easy to copy for another scenario.

What do you like best about the product?
Snaplogic has an excellent set of connectors across different domains and vendors. The connectors take the complexity of out using the Vendor's API and allow the developer to simply get connected and start creating the data flow. They are a constantly evolving company. Their release notes and webinars are well conducted and very informative. The ability to move pipelines from one environment to the other is easier. Their account management is impressive. The ability to have project spaces is a good add on, as it gives the flexibility to use it in various ways. The dashboard is useful and has the ability to show the historical exeuctions. They also have an excellent customer service team whose response time is top-notch and usually solve the issue within a few email cycles.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don't like is the UI. Their snaps cannot always be physically connected and hence you will have disconnected group snaps on the UI when you have large pipeline. Also,

Redoing our ETL. Its easier to develop and schedule
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Approach with an open mind. There is a sort of steep learning curve. But it can be overcome.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to learn. The visual aspect of the tool makes it easy to maintain as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pipelines can get a little big and more flexibility on how they are presented on the screen could be better. Could use a better scripting feature.
