best tool to track production urls and alert
What do you like best about the product?
easy to setup and to track whether the app is working as expected in production environement.
What do you dislike about the product?
not much i can think of at this point, all good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issue of how to monitor live sites after deployed to prod. This tool helps us in monitor prod traffic

What do you like best about the product?
Support is always available to help and guide you on how to use the application I have always had the support of such a wonderful team and they have been able to provide the best solution in each of the cases I have dealt with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that in order to be a tool that can be used globally, it should also have support in the native language of the client that can explain and guide you through the process of configuring a test in the clearest way possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creation of apis and help in the configuration of transactional test we and webservices this was very beneficial to all of us because we received a clear guide and a very complete development.
Best and user Friendly UI so that we can understand and track and monitor our websites and many more
What do you like best about the product?
Simplified UI, readily available across the globe in any location like we can run our script from whichever place we want to, and most importantly we were able to track the history and trends of our infrastructure or the website we were monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few more options like custom alerting, like scheduling downtime for the test for a specific time range daily for continuously a week or a month at a given time like that options will be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We cannot monitor our websites and infrastructure 24*7 so Catchpoint is helping and benefiting us a lot in synthetic monitoring and also for tracking our SSL certs and API's and many more
Catchpoint team is responsive and engaging in helping setup custom tests.

Catchpoint tests help us test the infrastructure from multiple geos allowing us understand latency and connectivity issues from different locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new interface is great. It would be helpful if it allows us to create multiple tests at once.

Catchpoint tests are set up to monitor and alert multiple services in the infrastructure from global test nodes. The alerts help us in diving right into the nodes that need attention.

New UI doesnt allow to perform custom nth percentile feature, which was great in old UI.

1. Customization around filmstrip snapshot interval for any given test execution instance.

Catchpoint is a market leading synthetic monitoring tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Differnt synthetic monitoring solution is available within Catchpoint. In our organization we are using 20 differnt sythetic monitoring solution from Catchpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slowness on the catchpoint Uuser Interface. Especially in new UI, and we dont see an option to switch to new UI from the legacy version, but we do have an option from legacy version to new UI.

helps customers to analyse the with business transaction performance, how the application is behaving.
Extremely useful to monitor through many type of ways. Clear view and detail water fall/break down.

Monitoring from specific location (mostly using Synthetic) for our services and alerting when any errors occurred.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much using classic Dashboard. Creating/Updating Dashboard needs to be improve for more comfortablility. Still some of features are under classic UI. When they are migrated to new UI? Since using new UI, now I'm very used to new UI but still see some classic UI page when seting SSO, or etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through waterfall / breakdown summary detail, we can investigate and find response from header capture or screen-shot image from global locations of agents. We delivery our service through Web protocol (HTTP/HTTPS). This kind of information is very useful for troubleshooting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many monitoring tools in the world. I think Catchpoint is one of the best tool. This is why I've been using Catchpoint almost for 8 years.
I've tried to use or used Dynatrace, PingDom, NewRelic before. but, I keep using Catchpoint till.

With automatic test running across different nodes gives Organization to test and analyse app performance across different geographical regions
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be better if catchpoint suggests best practices to improve performance for a test

Catchpoint is helping us in improving performance of website which is key to our user experience
Awesome Real Time Testing Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The RUM and testing helps us a lot to get real time analytics
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really that I know of , but we're still exploring catpoint and it's intergrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real Time User monitoring, Metric analytics and Alerting setup. Yes, it is able to test users in various regions of the world.
Used Catchpoint to test performance of different CDNs, got quite good experience and results
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly console, différent types of tests.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as much POPs as I would like (very few servers in some regions), also does not take into account ISP market share. For example if you select 5 ISPs where 2 have let's say 95% of market share it would be good to take this into consideration.
