Effortless Data Collection with a Responsive Support Team
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Bright Data's online filtering functions, which make it incredibly easy to assess available data and determine the volume of data we can obtain within a specified budget. The ability to filter data that is most pertinent to our research needs is invaluable, allowing us to focus on the most relevant information. Additionally, being able to save these filters into templates for quick reference enhances our workflow efficiency. I am particularly impressed with how responsive Bright Data is; the quick support they provided was instrumental in helping us obtain desired data promptly. The initial setup of Bright Data was straightforward, with everything being very direct and quick, which greatly facilitated our transition to using their service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The online filtering feature can be slow sometimes due to the amount of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bright Data for dataset collection, especially for filtering relevant data within budget. It simplifies data access and enables the selection of essential information for research projects.
Exceptional Data Quality and Outstanding Support
What do you like best about the product?
They have great data (if you're interested in specific data). They were extremely flexible with us and supported us through the process of extracting the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took a bit (but just a bit) to get used to the interface. The pricing scheme is not always clear but they are very responsive so they answered quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting good and rich data ethically.
Intuitive Platform with Outstanding Support and Data Access
What do you like best about the product?
Continuous support and communication with their employees. Intuitive data dashboard and platform making it straightforward to access to data. Data for good program and partnership allowing access for non-profit research use of the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data platform could allow setting even more complex filters, or will be nice to include an online analysis console using SQL or similar scripting languages to investigate the data more before downloading it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The wealth of public web data gathered and shared by Bright Data could enable different non-profit research similar to our project to be possible that otherwise, without such data, will not be possible.
Fast, Cost-Effective with Great SERP Scraping
What do you like best about the product?
I find Bright Data incredibly fast and very inexpensive, which makes it a valuable tool for our needs. The SERP scraping functionality is particularly beneficial, providing us with the Google results we need for various keywords efficiently. The initial setup of Bright Data was pretty easy, which streamlined our integration process, and I appreciate its ability to handle the technical challenges of scraping Google, reducing complexity on our end.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some difficulty getting my account fixed after an API key expired. The first person I talked to didn't give me a solution, and then I didn't hear from anyone for days. I opened a new ticket and the second person resolved my issue within 20 minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bright Data to effectively scrape Google results, overcoming technical hurdles and saving on costs with its fast and inexpensive service.
Consistent and Reliable Data Collection
What do you like best about the product?
Reliably gathering publicly available data on the web has become extremely difficult given the complex and varied frameworks used for content publication. Custom solutions are frequently rendered obsolete in days, and are generally brittle. In contrast, the solutions offered by Bright Data have worked consistently for us for many months without interruption. This has allowed our team to focus on data analysis instead of data collection.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have not encountered any drawbacks to the Bright Data platform.

Bright Data is taking care of data collection so that we can focus on data analysis.

Absolutely Love This Software!
What do you like best about the product?
Bright data is really useful. The support was great and swift, the data collection seamless. It was really easy to set up a simple API that returned social media data from several platforms. I would definitely recommend the tool for data collection.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not see any downsides on the software.

I needed data collection from social media for an academic project, and Bright Data allowed me to do so in a very quick, efficient and simple way.
Effective Scraping with Browser Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Bright Data simplifies web scraping by integrating a browser-like environment, providing a real-time visual experience, and enabling me to see exactly what I'm scraping. This feature significantly enhances my ability to bypass traditional barriers, such as firewalls and bot protections, without needing to write additional code. The multitasking feature is particularly impressive, allowing me to open multiple tabs and apps simultaneously, which boosts my productivity and efficiency. I am also fond of the session maintenance feature; it conveniently shares sessions across different tabs, which streamlines my workflow. Moreover, I find the support and documentation very helpful. Even when I was initially unfamiliar with the dashboard, the assistance provided made it easy to adapt and leverage Bright Data effectively in an AI-guided environment. Also, the human support was very good and responsive. A gentleman named Omri supported me when I had an issue regarding setting up a scraper. He gave me prompt support and was able to quickly resolve the issue. Top guy. The transition from using other software to Bright Data has been beneficial for managing and running tasks on the cloud without the complications of local setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
A point of frustration is the inability to easily create custom datasets directly, as I did not see a create custom dataset button; I have to search, which seems inefficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bright Data to simplify web scraping, allowing server-to-server communication without extra code, bypassing firewalls, and maintaining sessions. It supports multitasking and provides visual representation, making data scraping more intuitive and efficient.
Easy to use and great results

I’ve been using Bright Data for the past year for a research report, and it has been incredibly helpful and indispensable in the process.
The proxy network was fast, reliable, and easy to integrate. Even though I don’t have experience with making API calls, the user interface is intuitive and simple to navigate, making the setup seamless.
It allowed me to gather the data I needed efficiently, and the various proxy options, worked perfectly for my needs and not only that but customer support is quick and helpful.
I highly recommend Bright Data and I will be continue using it for future projects for sure!

Data extraction has been a big challenge in my project, given the little availability of public data from social media platforms. Bright Data has been crucial in helping me extract data I needed, but not only the data itself has been useful but also how easy and straight forward it was to use. There is no tutorial needed, it has a very intuitive platform and it has been a great help, especially for someone new at data extraction
