Good product & exceptional customer service
What do you like best about the product?
The product itself does the job pretty well. Both the Web Unlocker API and the Browser API were easy to integrate and worked as advertised.
While having a problem with the Web Unlocker API, I contacted the customer support and immediately received competent help from an expert. The problem was resolved fairly quickly and without having to put pressure on the support.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was a problem with the Web Unlocker API, which we were able to work around until the issue was resolved. As the customer service was very responsive, I wouldn't say this was a big problem in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Bright Data to bypass bot protection mechanisms on websites to access publicly available data. Instead of trying to build our own infrastructure around that we have been using the Web Unlocker API and the Browser API by Bright Data to achieve that.
The Leader in Scraping
What do you like best about the product?
How easily it works, we spend years trying to build our own collectors with mixed results. They're adding new code and no-code prebuilt collectors which make the work so simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
We needed to outsource collector creation to a partner company in order to own the code, having Bright Data build it for us would have been ideal, but we would not have been able to own the scripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a complex and robust operation of collecting information from various sites simultaneously. This was not easy to develop ourselves, but Bright Data makes it super easy to build and maintain collectors that simply work as expected.

I was really impressed by the quality and stability of the service.
The Support team was responsible and helped to clarify all my documentation questions.
I will use BrightData for all our upcoming projects, and of course will recommend it to my new customers.

What do you dislike about the product?
Everything was good. Of course, I had some questions about functionality initially, but support team helped me on those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Data Extraction area usually I had a problem with stability of instruments, since you need to maintain everything to be up-to-date. So, if it is possible to outsource that to someone who can make it good and professionally - that is really helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
High quality and scalable data collection is what Bright Data brings the table. Its proxy network is so robust that using it to bypass geo restrictions is more than seamless. For instance, if a website you want to scrape is accessible only in a given country, Bright Data is an excellent choice. Another standout piece is the integration features that the tool has – they are easy to integrate with several tools and platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it’s priced a bit steep for small businesses or individual use users. It would be nice if we could get something other pricing tiers or discounts if it’s for long term. Further, some of the more advanced features are steep to learn. The basic functionalities are easy to use, but customizing the deeper options takes some bit of time. However, the documentation is fortunately quite comprehensive, but could use some more beginner friendly tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Bright Data, the process of gathering data from various sources was tedious and time consuming. I had to manually setup proxies and get frequently IP banned. Bright Data is all in order now. With the automated proxy management, data collection does not go into hiatus. It is not only made my life easier because it has made my productivity much better, it has helped me better concentrate to analyze the data instead of thinking about technical issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Some document is outdated like the best practice section, wait_any() can't set timeout, the advanced usage of wait() for multiple elements.
2. The document is insufficient to help developers to solve complicated cases like collecting data from multiple stages. Looks like it can only run all the stages serially. There is no way to collect the data of all the children stages in the root stage.
3. Not easy to debug for multiple stages. The only way to test multiple stages is Initiate Mannually. But it doesn't provide any run logs.
4. Can't jump to output schema in the Code editor page.
5. Not easy to check the mismatched part between the result and output schema.
6. Not able to detect captcha automatically as described in the document. It needs to check the captcha object manually for sometime.

Reliable proxy network with flexible options
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most in Bright Data is stable of its proxy network that helps us collect data that we need without interruptions. Access can thus be retrieved consistently, and the firewall which enables this, ensures that automatic IP rotation to keep moving to a new IP address. Residential and mobile proxies come in different variety for different data gaining necessities. I also consider their commitment to ethical practices to make sure we continue complying. When speed is the main thing, their pre organized data sets are perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback of Bright Data is the cost, especially for high traffic project. Usage of proxy can increase quickly and some features are locked to more expensive tiers. The service is reliable but some sites will still detect and block you from accessing them. Unfortunately, the dashboard is clunky packed features at first. Also, it takes a bit of trial and error to set up the right configurations, however, this can slow down first workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to access publicly available information has made competitive research much more efficient with Bright Data. This means we can obtain data in hours in the fraction of the time it would’ve taken before. Having the ability to source pricing for product, the sentiment of our customer, and industry trends has massively affected our business strategy. It also ensures that ethical data collection is complied with, which is largely important for trust building. This has freed up time for more in depth analysis of the information.
Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Poor Communication

Nothing, absolutely nothing. Wasting my time only.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Bright Data. I was flagged for no reason whatsoever, despite not even having used the service. To make matters worse, a scheduled Google Meet was canceled without any prior notice or explanation.
This level of mismanagement and lack of communication is completely unacceptable. If this is how they handle basic coordination, I can’t imagine how they deal with more important matters. I would not recommend relying on them if you expect professionalism and accountability.

A user friendly tool with a responsive support team
What do you like best about the product?
One great aspect of Bright Data is the variety of data collection options it offer. There are a marketplace for existing datasets, a scraper API, and the IDE scraper, providing significant flexibility for our data collection tasks. I’m also impressed by their support team. No matter it’s a billing issue or a technical problem, they respond and resolve things quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to get familiar with the IDE scraper, but overall I’m satisfied given its effectiveness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have specific data to collect for research purposes, and due to the large volume, we need a more structured framework to support the data collection process.
Best dataset marketplace platform out there.
What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data is one of the best dataset marketplace available. The BD team is suoer helpful and the data is amazing. API and dashboard are both user friendly and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing which can be improved, although it way above others is, its documentation of dataset marketplace in terms of usage, filter etc.

Bright data has ready to use dataset, which earlier, took a lot of time for us to scrape and extract.
