What do you like best about the product?
Its a real time analytical tool and very helpful to keep know about your application and server response on every request. I also use it for bug fixing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe it have to be improve from other developers point of view but from my point of view, I have not seen anything wrong with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly we install it on our production server for see the number of request and response of our multiple websites on same server, but it also show us PHP notices which we fix to improve the site functionality.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its simple and very helpful. This tool not only give stats of script execution but also shows the database execution and response time.

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely simple integration with the New Relic agent.
What do you dislike about the product?
No feature to share the graph/traces over an email. We have to keep taking screenshots for our operational performance reviews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use New Relic to solve the following :

1. Tracing multiple API level and non async transactions such as crons, message consumers, business logic, database (RDS, Dynamo, Redis) connections.
2. Test the performance of our Database queries or other external service calls as a proportion of the entire API level transaction performance.
Benefit: This helps us identify bottlenecks in our performance.
3. Trace JVM level metrics of our services .
Benefit : Helps us analyze and fine tune the garbage collection and identify memory leak patterns.
4. Updates for memory, CPU and transaction level errors / failures. We can view theses failures manually or can set alerts on them which are then integrated with email and Pagerduty.
Benefit: These help us resolve operational errors/inadequacies at the earliest.
5. Analyze the traffic, the load and the performance of our APIs and services.
Benefit: This helps us understand end user /client behaviour and helps us fine tune our services better for best performance on high traffic transactions.

Great tool for user experience performance tracking

What do you like best about the product?
Tool provides detailed info about application performance on browser level. Metrics like errors, web site performance can be collected, which helps to determine issues. API integrations are good and alerts, I like them, full with info.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its more likely what I would like to see in this tool, exceptions on browser level would be very good to have at place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
web site performance tracking are possible with new relic browser module. Quick detection of performance degradation, detailed alerts can be useful, especially after releases.

What do you like best about the product?
Gives simple and detailed performance insights for each part of your application or environment and that too in real-time!
What do you dislike about the product?
Paid version is exterminate expensive otherwise it is ok for me

New Relic enables us to detect and fix issues on our production servers faster.

What do you like best about the product?
High level and low level details can be fetched easily. Rest API support
What do you dislike about the product?
Subscription can be tricky to deal with . If I have multiple accounts each for one Env , I need subscription for each of them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deployment time , enhanced monitoring of performance of apps, one monitoring console for all stuff

What do you like best about the product?
Used it previously for websites powered by Wordpress and server monitoring. It proved to be easy to configure and has provided a good depth of info.
What do you dislike about the product?
Entry level services that used to be free were discontinued.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring the performance of WordPress powered websites. Checking for performance impact of new hooks, themes and plugins.

Better Solution But Slower too

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of install New Relic agent on each server ... It's such a really simple thing and also all the information about server's health .. throughput, response time, error rate, database connections and the possibility of identify slow queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the response time of new relic APM. I do not know if there is a problem with my location (Buenos Aires) or with the amount of applications that we have tracking in its system. But every time I want to access my application APM page, I have to wait some minutes to get it loaded at 100% ... It is really awful when I have to see my metrics "right now". And the application search input does not work so well too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are tracking all of our application servers to know real time data about performance, throughput, uptime, errors, server's health, etc.The real benefit is to have all these data in a few minutes grouped in only one page with the minimum effort.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collate statistics from different VMs across cloud providers and provide a single view of the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the dashboard in quite cumbersome and not an intiutive process
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NewRelic helps us monitor the health of our application in various environments and alerts us when there are issues with specific servers.

everything is awesome with New Relic APM!

What do you like best about the product?
It doesn’t just ‘monitor’ different aspects of our work, but it also connects them in a comprehensive union. I was pleased to discover that response time can be divided in backend layers.I like that it didn’t take me days to set it up, and even if I was suspicious at the beginning, I received a feature-packed monitoring system. Performance is outstanding so far, having in mind that we’re only using a free plan to keep an eye on our service. Imagine what an upper plan could do!
What do you dislike about the product?
0There is nothing about New Relic APM I don't like.!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We located and defeated many ill-performing queries, removed delays and bottlenecks in our server desk IO and traffic charge. The list of benefits is quite long.Every time the application went down, I was able to identify the problem and to solve it too.!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
i recommend it,you should try it!

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use of the software. The reports provided and alerting mechanisms. Very valuable tool for my technical team. They are the ones using it and then are able to provide better support to our end users. While I dont use the tool I was the executive sponsor of the tool for utilization by my IT team. They provide data and reports to me that I am able to share with executive leadership.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tool has performed well in our environment and provided good insight to our web infrastructure. As a new user nothing to dislike so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to gain more insight into our web infrastructure and see what type of performance we were really getting. Wanted to narrow down issues in order to be more pro-active in solving problems. We also wanted to be proavtive in alerting to potential problems prior to them becoming full fledged issues. The tool has enabled my technical team
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure you review all capabilities thoroughly to ensure you get what you want. Make sure technical team involved both from an infrastructure and application development perspective.
