nice guide to manage firewall at many variety brands
What do you like best about the product?
Recommend the best practice for the policies and not enforce me to apply specific policies.

not integrate with force point and Sophos

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the customer service, product information and assistance we have received so far. The tool offers many features we can benefit from. Although this wasn't our first option the balance between costs and features really separated is from the pack.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels too good to be true so far. I'm waiting for the bottom to fall out, maybe not completely but somewhere. I have seen plenty of products reference capabilities and never has any one product been able to reliably due everything it has been billed as being capable of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to view what's in place, what's unnecessary and the ability to report and support changes made. The biggest benefit in my eyes is the added visibility.
Good Product but still some rough edges to polish
What do you like best about the product?
Policy Optimation and Unused Rule reporting. Change Request path mapping and Firewall triggering.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to use the built-in FireFlow Object Update Template as FireFlow currently cannot update existing group objects. Cannot add/remove routes from Firewalls or install an initial Firewall policy on a newly built Firewall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing Firewall policy bloat/inefficiencies and improving policy implementation times.

The problems with "cleaning up" the environment (AppViz) after getting faulty data in there

What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is intuitive and easy to learn. The support for a wide variety of devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bugs. Every new hotfix or release fixes some things but breaks other things (that used to work).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance issues, risk evaluation, easy to export parts of policies to customers.
AlgoSec Cyber Combat Game designed awesome , this tool have lot of capabilities to stop attacks.
What do you like best about the product?
This tool has a lot of capabilities to stop attacks. ASDM policy optimizations and Fireflow automation are great functionality of AlgoSec tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool has multiple tabs to reach out same UI interface, so make it a little more straightforward if possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to navigate complected logs data and determine the root cause of problems/issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a good platform you can leverage compare to firemon, Splunk [ few functionalities] at a cheaper cost. Keep it up. Good work, AlgoSec Team.

I like the visibility of the platform. It has allowed us to easily see policies for the use of optimization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The GUI is not the most user-friendly and little complicated to administer the solution

Traffic that is just noise or rules that are unused or misconfigured on the firewall. Also the ability to see vulnerabilities
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great visibility, but take advantage of professional services to get you up going. I recommend separating administrators from Analysts as well.
AlgoSec Log Analyzer
What do you like best about the product?
AlgoSec is a good audit analyzer. With the help of AlgoSec, we can monitor our network and security devices. AlgoSec also provides security devices to add, delete, modify the config. We can schedule the backup of devices and upgrade, migrated the devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sync between network devices and AlgoSec may be a challenging task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can monitor our network traffic quickly basis and execute the change immediately. Find any rules, ACL, routes, and config very easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
AlgoSec is the best analyzer for network traffic and security audit, threats and data center management.

The support and PS team of Algosec is very skilled and professional.

AlgoSec sometimes breaks things with updates which were working previously.

Firewall policy automation. We push and manage policies for different fortigate , cisco and palo alto firewalls.

Provides complete peace of mind with in-depth security features. Health metrics showing application health and availability. Latest vulnerability reports per microservice. Dev-ops and operation team for quick resolution of issues with timely alerts.

Complex Integration that needs prior knowledge of network/domain knowledge.
