Has variety of content
What do you like best about the product?
Has a large variety of content. The certificate is also considered of high value, which makes it even more appealing for people to gain better knowledge and specializations at their convenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is pretty expensive for students, they can make it more appealing for students especially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning game development in python was super fun
Excellent Place to Learn Anything
What do you like best about the product?
They have the absolute best coverage of subjects. If you want to learn something online without the hassle of leaving your home, this is the place to go. Their courses are comprehensive and in-depth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not dislike anything about Coursera. Some classes were more expensive than others, but that all depends on the complexity/demand of the topic being covered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It served as a refresher course for those of us who had not coded in specific languages recently.
Coursera - One of the best Online learning tool available today
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Coursera is that it offers extremely beneficial learning material at an affordable price. It also gives a Learning Path that is it guides a user to pursue courses in increasing order of difficulty. A feature that I like a lot is the recent courses and inactive courses Tab which lists the courses that a user is currently pursuing.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a user opts for a course without the certificate, the practice questions do not get evaluated. Though I understand it from the business perspective, still some practice questions should be admissible to the learners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Coursera to enhance my knowledge base and learn new skills. This online platform is extremely useful to get both theoretical and practical knowledge on any subject. Coursera also has courses on personality development and Life Sciences. Users can also take certifications from Coursera that are widely acknowledged.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend users to use this platform to learn as much as possible. This is a very cheap and affordable learning platform and there is a deluge of learning opportunities on Coursera. I would recommend users to try out the Learning Path feature. Arts and Humanities courses are also very beneficial.
Smooth & efficient learning academy
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of access. Variety of courses. Customization
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited content in each course. Too many assignments
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data visualization.
Easy way to learn a trade
What do you like best about the product?
As an instructional designer it's important to learn what's the latest and greatest and with coursera you can get certified easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only issue and I think this is common with anything like this is that the course work isn't always fully applicable, but still like anything it can be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I am the training manager for my company it's important that I continue to grow as an instructional designer and manager.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to use and has great courses.
University at home
What do you like best about the product?
The quality. It's distinctive because of the broad field of learning you can have at your disposal. Also, the difficulty varies a lot, so anyone can learn, but usually Coursera is oriented more for undergraduates. I even had taken courses that I could not keep up with the pace because of the difficulty, so that's a good distinctive. It's challenging
What do you dislike about the product?
In some courses, the teachers are not that great. A lot of information given without sense. But it's like universities in general, where you have good teachers who work hard in order for the student understand it better, and others who simply and without interest don't like to spend time on making things easier to the student.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Coursera for a long time for my own interests. It has given me the knowledge I have in all the languages I use/been using at work (R, Python, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails...). During the time I was freelancing, I was using Coursera to develop the skills I was freelancing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's one of the best MOOCs out there, not to say the best. For Spanish people it is expensive but for Americans should not be that expensive.
Fill in knowledge gaps at your own pace
What do you like best about the product?
To date, I've taken three specializations and one course with Coursera.
The courses I've taken have excellent depth and breadth. I've never felt as if I'm getting a "lite" version of a post-secondary course, but that the lectures and material are exactly what I would have gotten if I were attending class in person. Although some of the courses are now years old, faculty from the program are still active in the forums so I still felt as if I were going to get current answers to my questions.
I like the 7-day trial that many of the courses offer. In one case I was able to plow through the coursework before the trial ended.

What do you dislike about the product?
Impatient person that I am, in some cases I did not like having to wait on classmates to grade my work before I could proceed to the next course.
In the case of one course, the instructor spoke so slowly and in such a roundabout way that, even at 2x speed, the videos were intolerable to watch. Even though the course itself seemed to offer the information that I needed, I ended up looking to other online courses with more engaging instructors.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm an independent, self-taught developer. As such, there are gaps in my knowledge and few gaps in my schedule. Coursera gave me the means to fill in those gaps -- in particular in methodologies and in related technologies -- without burdening my schedule.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If possible, subscribe to full specializations instead of individual courses since you will likely get more out of the courses that way. The "capstone" projects are worthwhile insofar as they reinforce the specialization concepts in a practical manner.
A brilliant tool for life long learners.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about "Coursera" is the diverse range of subjects and topics available for us to learn and grow. It offers someone like me who has a passions for life long leaning, an opportunity to keep learning within the confines and comforts of my house. I can get access to some of the best faculties in the world and institutions in the world without moving an inch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fee structure lately has grown steep for some courses. Some courses do not offer the students the flexibility to manage the timeline of the course based on the student's requirements and needs and one has to fork out money once the trial period is over. At least it keeps us engaged and committed because of the limited trial period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coursera has been beneficial for a lot of my co-workers and employees since it allows everyone to further their education. The fee fro most of the courses is not too high making it very affordable for everyone involved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
"Coursera" is certainly a blessing for people who are passionate about learning. It has helped so many of us in furthering our education. It brings us the best of the courses and the teachers to our disposal for a nominal fee and can be used within the comforts of our homes. Some of the courses can be taken free of charge. I just enrolled today in "Introduction to Mathematical Thinking" offered by Stanford University. This course can be taken without a fee. All the courses offer accreditation and a certificate.
best experience for e-learning ever!!
What do you like best about the product?
the best thing about coursera is the that there are so much of choices available for different courses. There are paid as well as unpaid courses available. You can get access to world-class materials from renowned universities and professors.
What do you dislike about the product?
No quickie techniques to remember the tough formulas or algorithms.always sign up for a long adventure. Sometimes, you just want to see the basics of a domain, not to prepare yourself to become an expert.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
many of the courses are also available from really named and recognized institution. And the wide variety of courses are available and with incredible content and knowledge. It lets the student choose between auditing a course or paying for it and get access to the full content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
i recommend coursera mostly to students who are keen to learn something new.
