Gaining skills throughout the work day
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to take skill specific courses so that. I can better tend to my Marketing Campaigns and duties. Being able to work on a specific skill allows me the ability to optimize project in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time, there are a number of courses that start within the next couple days so it becomes a waiting game before being able to jump right in to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Obtaining skills that necessary to function and optimize in an ever-changing world. The benefits are endless. It is very easy to go at your own pace so that you are able to obtain these skills in real time and revisit anything necessary to make sure that your skills are honed appropriately.

What do you like best about the product?
The way they explain things, the design of the exercises is simply the best I've seen so far. The prfoseros that give the courses, note that they are very qualified and with a lot of experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a huge fan of forums as the main form of communication between classmates. It did not create a sense of group-learning for me; it just felt like another task to check off the list. I would rather either be a completely independent learner or be engaged in meaningful learning with others beyond a requirement to post/respond a certain number of times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deep learning. I learned everything, basic concepts and advanced problem solutions.

I think that the whole idea of having coursera courses tailored to the business needs of a company is awesome and very helpful!

The options at this point are limited. I think they could work on having even more content.

Use it to train new employees or teach current ones new technologies that will be implemented or used.

Online courses with the availability of all the resource material, secondly world class famous teachers are teaching the courses. thirdly the assignments and the quizzes which are the great learning experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Now they have started to charge (fee) in most of the courses which have somehow reduced my interest in the coursera.

State of the art courses are available in coursera which is quite helpful for the persons and ultimately the organization.

Excellent for Lifelong Learning
What do you like best about the product?
This is a powerful site to learn more about or learn about topics of interest. The great thing is that there are so many topics to grow more understanding or learn about for the first time. The courses are provided by top notch institutions and teachers. The institutions include Ivy League and other high-level colleges and universities. Be prepared to do some work and learn a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the courses are a bit overwhelming with the amount of posts and work to be done. If you're not prepared to do a lot of work, it can become a bit daunting with a regular work schedule.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an educator, I am able to use some of these courses for recertification.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a good resource for recertification and other certification tools. Courses are easy to cancel if it is not what you thought it would be or if the scheduling does not work out.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to take the courses for free, that is, acquiring the knowledge at the moment you really need it, it doesn't matter if you don't have the capital to do it and then pay for the certificate when you can.
What do you dislike about the product?
On Coursera, there is not a great variety of courses, and most are in English, which limits the user a lot since there is no variety of courses and the courses that may interest the user are in English or in a language they do not understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many people on the team trained with this tool for a while.

Coursera is a platform for learning with specialist professors in the field. The work team can take the courses when the company needs it, and the company or the worker can pay for them when they have the monetary value to obtain the certificate.
Great for those who want to continue their education!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the free courses they offer! The courses not only helps with personal development but I can take courses related to my job and receive certificates for certain courses as well as a lower cost than typical certificate workshops.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that there may not be a course available for a specific topic you may want to take at that moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coursera has helped provide a cheaper option for professional development within our office. This means we can take more classes/ training for the cost of a regional conference.

This is an amazing website to use for both professional and personal development.
Good to learn new skill
What do you like best about the product?
Coursera is already well known for being able to view classes online through videos and sometimes homework. If the product has been used by others, it's easy to add the business account. It tends to have detailed and full courses to take deep dives into different subjects. It tracks the progress and you can usually go at your own pace.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't always help more than a youtube video. Sometimes you're just looking for a quick how to for a one off use case and don't need a full length course to learn how to do something.

It's a solid choice, but there are other competitors to look into as well.
