What do you like best about the product?
Coursera is on the right track for providing education through the Internet. Overall, they have a wide selection of topics to learn, limited by the amount of ways you would like to challenge yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
It looks like my problems with Coursera are consistent with other users. NO free classes. The fine print is confusing enough that you'll wind up getting charged, and they "don't do refunds".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unfortunate for Coursera, the have some problems. Pricing terms & conditions, no phone number, bad support.

The company has good content but bad support.

Some courses are very interesting and free of cost.

They are very shady about their charges. The support is bad. No phone number, you could only contact them via chat service and the reps could be rude.

The user interface and user design looks better than other online course sites like Lynda and Udemy.

Coursera courses are more expensive than competitors.

It's easy for employees to learn new skills and programs through this course. It's much easier having them take an online course rather than in-person.

Keeping workforce up to date on skillsets and offering new career paths to the motivated

I love that this program allows me to take online classes that I can easily manipulate as well as work my full time job. They offer a wide range of subjects which always peak my interest. I like that the courses do not last too long and you are able to have enough time to study for your quizzes and test. I think that by allowing the courses to be provided on-demand it allows more efficiency and better results.

If you are not used to taking online classes you may have to adjust to the setup seeing that you will be watching video lectures and studying alone.

I am able to achieve a degree that can further my career

Try it out and take some courses and you'll definitely find ones that you love.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to take skill specific courses so that. I can better tend to my Marketing Campaigns and duties. Being able to work on a specific skill allows me the ability to optimize project in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time, there are a number of courses that start within the next couple days so it becomes a waiting game before being able to jump right in to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Obtaining skills that necessary to function and optimize in an ever-changing world. The benefits are endless. It is very easy to go at your own pace so that you are able to obtain these skills in real time and revisit anything necessary to make sure that your skills are honed appropriately.

What do you like best about the product?
The way they explain things, the design of the exercises is simply the best I've seen so far. The prfoseros that give the courses, note that they are very qualified and with a lot of experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a huge fan of forums as the main form of communication between classmates. It did not create a sense of group-learning for me; it just felt like another task to check off the list. I would rather either be a completely independent learner or be engaged in meaningful learning with others beyond a requirement to post/respond a certain number of times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deep learning. I learned everything, basic concepts and advanced problem solutions.
