Terrible Platform, Support, and a Mediocre Course
What do you like best about the product?
I've known Coursera since 2013, and thought the idea of learning online with peer graded assignments was brilliant.
Coursera continues to maintain a very user friendly platform with both web and mobile learning, and easy access to material.

What do you dislike about the product?
The course which is a specialization in SEO is completely outdated. They are using content from 2013, most of the tools displayed for measuring different aspects of technical SEO have changed or don't exist. Coursera is charging a monthly subscription way higher than any other online learning platform.
There are few students to grade assignments, so grades take longer than expected to get back. Most of the times the feedback given by other students is absolutely terrible, and irrelevant to instructions. Seems like they didn't take the same course you did.
Support is also bad, they have one standard way of doing things and are incapable of helping you in a particular case.
At the end I did receive a course certification, which I am ashamed to even add to Linkedin, because although it may say "completed SEO specialization" it really means "wasted his/her time".
I highly recommend to do better research on online courses and stay away from Coursera.

I tried taking an SEO specialization to learn for my career, as I took an intro to Digital Marketing in College. I don't believe there were any benefits to taking this specialization or working with Coursera.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a learning platform wich allows users to learn new skills and experience online, to chose the classes whant to attend . And provide a variety of subjects to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thinks more uptodate materials should be added regarding medical fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning new skills without physically attending the classroom.

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of courses, the quality of them, being able to certificate. Coursera is the best platform for elearning bar none. The amount of resources of tools that each course grants means you will always learn if thats your objective, being able to ask direct questions to the professors is like taking an uni class but just better and more practical.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to complain about coursera, the amount of content you get for what you pay is staggering. Its simply the best platform online for learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I learned all the things I wanted to learn but my program didnt provide, principally programming which at this age is a must have tool for any kind of work one has.

- peer to peer reviews: they take forever to reach the peers to review and you get frustrated
- sometimes payment schema is unclear

Coursera had a huge impact on my career in general. It is the great place to learn something new from one of the worlds top professors!

Coursera has offered the ability to learn offline, which allows for the ability to learn while commuting, down-time, travel, and even while exercising!

The user-experience is a bit awkward when navigating, as it requires a new series of step by step clicks to restart or refind something, instead of a back-click capability.

What do you like best about the product?
Coursera has a huge library of certifications and also offers Undergraduate and Post Graduations programs. Coursera app is fast and gives you complete track of your past and activities,it also allows you to reset the deadline so you can complete the course on different dates. The most important feature on coursera is verified and credit based certifications which definitely helps in both academic and profession

Some course are bit expensive and would love to see more social science programs ,other than these two i dont think there are anything to dislike coursera

Elearning is the most easiest way to keep yourself updated with market trends and technology. Coursera helped me in learning worlds leading technology from tops university and exchange views with real life students and University's professors. Once one of the university professors whom i added on my linkedin helped me in a blockchain project.

Coursera offers some amazing technology and social science program with verified and credit based certifications. It also has some interesting Bachelors and Masters program.If your office schedule doesnt allow you to attend education at any institute then coursera is there to help you. Coursera has trained thousands of professionals around the world.

Nice platform, but not for us
What do you like best about the product?
Many languages were supported and the aesthetics were simple. I liked the ability to use a mobile app.

I did not like the pre-recorded lecture feature. The community forum was also not very helpful.
