What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is an open-source and powerful operating system that is free. It provides good security and performance, making our development easier and faster. Excellent developer community support.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need to know command lines to configure everything, but this can be easier once you become used to it. All softwares are not available for ubuntu, and hard to find alternative solutions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very cost-effective; we save lots of money by using Ubuntu, and it is faster, so it saves our development time as well and increases productivity. Ubuntu is easier to install
Good OS
What do you like best about the product?
It is free of cost. It means you do not need to pay the OS price. This also provides GUI mode which is easy to use. Very quick reboot process
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing big pros but it is not much so user friendly as Windows OS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's licensing. Windows cost a lot of money but we can use Ubuntu free for whole life. Moreover, it s more secure than Windows OS.

What do you like best about the product?
Because it's free and open source. It gets all the security updates from the community and developers. There are numerous add ons and plugins to make your desktop pop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes if you are using dual boot windows/linux it loses the grub boot loader settings when you perform an update/upgrade. It's quite tedious to get it running again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's really built well for web developers and software developers in general. Multiple desktops allow you to work on multiple projects at the same time. Switching from one project to another and having all the associated material ready to go helps a lot.
Ubuntu server is best in terms of security for small and large scale organisations.
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu server is very secure and lightweight as compare to other operating system , also it is an open source OS so no need of licensing. The GUI is also very much improved in 22.04 version , it provides more secure terminal and network facilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found major issues , but sometimes after updating the third-party packages, I got some conflicts, with my localhost and Mysql server connection, but that I have solved with some minor changes in my config file. Apart from that, I have not faced any issue till now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Ubuntu server for writing automation script for web application , I works with nodeJS, puppeteer & Github. The pm2 server works very smooth and the execution of a script is also very fast.

What do you like best about the product?
It's been almost six years, and I have been associated with this operating system. There are numerous things that I like about it:
1. It's open source, which means it's completely free
2. It offers user security
3. Compared to other Linux OS, this OS system is relatively quick.
4. It has a big community; if you are facing any issue in between, they are ready to help you anytime.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit tedious to handle when coming to a new user, but once you get used to it, you won't want to let go of it. Aside from this, switching to Ubuntu was one of my finest choices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu supports me in my daily tasks, including intense coding and debugging hours. It grants me unhindered access to all of the system's directories. The Ubuntu terminal serves as a one-stop shop for all of my issues. The interface is speedy every time I run a code and provides the result immediately.

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is best for developers and it is open source which is another major advantage. Easy to install and work with Ubuntu is easy and does not require much knowledge. The user experience is good while processing. Best for developers. It has a separate app store where we can use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ubuntu is completely designed for developers and ordinary people who use software to need some commands to open and access some files when it is difficult in normal use and some applications are not supported by this software.

Ubuntu has a lot of security compared to Windows because there are few applications that can be installed and compared to other operating systems, Ubuntu is open-source and easy for developers to use.

There are so many options to control almost every aspect of your operating system

The only downside I found was with NVidia drivers not reaching the same performance compared to Windows OS

I use the LIVE CD feature to browse the file structure on a PC that has lost the ability to boot properly to create backups

For us, Ubuntu helps us basically run the same OS on both our development computers and our production VM servers in the cloud. It's super helpful in terms of finding potential future problems.
