From my point of view, Ubuntu is more used for development and working things purpose so you do not get all feature which has Windows and are not that optimized also so keep this thing in mind and go for it, After using some time I personally feel Ubuntu is more batter then windows for development

easy to navigate, the most secured, free and open source operating system, no need for high-level hardware architecture and easy to customize the best choice to learn and surf with the cybersecurity

First of all it is not a big deal, but ubuntu does not support the games, which led me to use the dual boot solution on my personal computer and toggle to Windows to spend some time gaming

It is highly stable, and I didn't remember facing any lag before. As well as, the developers are frequently publishing a version for bug fixing. it did not consume from the hardware efficiency

Its simplicity and the the principles of WYSIWYG that is being followed. I also like the fact that the OS is open source and allows us to change specific components of it like nautilus

Slow in updates. Compared to other popular os like Windows and MacOS, the updates are slow. I also frequently face issues with bluetooth and other peripheral connections.

Ubuntu is very light weight. I have a very old PC in which windows is slow. With ubuntu the ui is fluid and there is no lag. Also, since I do backend engineering, it is really easy to replicate server environment (linux) in ubuntu.

Firstly, it's open source, and secondly, I like its computation speed compared to Windows and other similar features.
What needs improvement?
Sometimes certain tasks are challenging due to issues with the command-line interface. Users who prefer Windows may find it difficult to transition to Linux. So, I believe Linux could enhance its user interface to make it more user-friendly for a wider range of users.
Therefore, I suggest improving the user interface.
In additional features, I would like to add an additional software store alongside the existing one. Similar to the Microsoft Store, it offers a wide range of software options.

I have been using it since 2016. I am using version 22.0 LTS.

Ubuntu Linux have two types of releases. The first one is LTS (Long Term Support), and they also release short-term support versions every nine months. I mostly prefer the LTS version because they are the most stable.

For the general public, I don't think it's easy because most OS installations are typically handled by engineers or service center guys. So, for non-technical users, it's similar to installing Windows or any other operating system.

Ubuntu Linux is free for personal use, including business use. However, if you require enterprise-level support from their team, you need to pay a subscription fee. Ubuntu offers custom pricing that may vary based on the business requirements.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
When I started using it initially, it had better accessibility and speed. I have a low-end laptop with an AMD processor that doesn't work well with Windows. So, I chose Ubuntu Linux as it works efficiently on that device too.
What other advice do I have?
You should give Ubuntu Linux a try. I would give it a ten. It's the best, in my opinion.

Is a great way to switch between Linux and Windows, keeping the advantages of both. It provides a useful way to do command-line tasks as well as run a Linux environment when needed.

It can have some issues with crashing/running forever, with little way to know exactly what's going on.
