I have always been interested in open source projects and Ubuntu tops the list. It is my preferred OS since its relatively lightweight and has a good UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linux is a good language for programming but seems restrictive in many things especially gaming. It needs more support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu provides a great UI and can be used across various IOT devices. It is more convenient to install it on a rasberry PI and use it for connecting with other devices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ubuntu is great for programming but if doesn't provide support for some softwares. It is a great idea to dual boot with another OS.
Favorite Linux Distro

The UI simplicity is amazing and easy to operate . The simplicity in its behavior makes it more reliable for its users.

Using it as reliable and efficient OS under my job conditions.
It's a different experience than using Windows .A very different experience.
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a computer operating system based on the Debian GNU / Linux distribution. It is distributed as a free and open source software, along with commercial software. It is named after the South African Ubuntu Philosophy. I guess you imagined this being the first point on our list. But the fact that Ubuntu is free goes beyond many customers’ need to not pay for stuff .I think Ubuntu software is a problem-less operating software. It is open source software.Basic knowledge is required to use but very easy to use.The convenience of being accessible to all users is a special advantage. It is an advantage to have no cost for software that does not have slow and no virus threats.
What do you dislike about the product?
When installing some software, you will need to follow the same procedures. In general, some software may have difficulties and only open-source software such as Ubuntu should be used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ideal to use with internet connections. Can be used to work with internal networks. Viral effects are low.Computers that use other operating systems tend to be slower, and Ubuntu does not show such slowdowns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Although Ubuntu looks like a hard operating system, you will find it to be very easy to use. Try using.
Ubuntu R
What do you like best about the product?
The installation was very quick which got me working! It is super fast with WiFi connections which makes my work easy. It keeps on providing pop ups of applications that i find useful with what I do. The downloading process is also faster
What do you dislike about the product?
Sadly, on the first day i used it, midway my work it crashed. The mouse pointer is slow to move which is nagging. Then please, reduce on the number of adverts, they are disruptive. Some buttons and menus are hard to get until which limits me sometimes. However after using it for along time, i mastered this. It is slow when i am doing various tasks on my computer. The graphics are poor mostly while playing video games
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I easily get free apps to use, but also provides real time results without over scrolling through looking for the right information needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ubuntu is easy to use, so fast in strong networks, I have not had any data leak instances but also provides free apps which are user friendly. I have most times updated Ubuntu without my computer turning off. Try it today...
Ubuntu Review
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a very simple software to install and also update when one needs to. Unlike a few software of its kind, Ubuntu can be customized by an individual user and it works properly for both Windows and maCOS operating systems.Another advantage Ubuntu comprises of is that is it free to download and it also comes with a variety of not paid for apps. Ubuntu’s interface is also very attractive compared to its other competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ubuntu sometimes freezes in some operations and its capability may vary from the different operating systems which are Windows and maCOS. The idea of many desktops running is useless because once a file is open on one desktop, it still runs on the same desktop even when transferred to another desktop. Where is the button to show the desktop? It is no where to be seen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just like a good operating system, Ubuntu is very simple to install apps and various files. I have been able to carryout my documentations in Ubuntu. Apart from that, It is easy for me to use various softwares on Ubuntu compared to any other operating system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For any computer user, both software and hardware, Ubuntu is a very efficient, effective and trusted operating system and i would recommend anyone to use Ubuntu without any worries.
The best Operating system
What do you like best about the product?
Light weight. There are like so many flavours of ubuntu that you can use for your specific purposes. As you already know it's a linux based OS if something breaks you can actually fix it for yourself or there are already hundreds of solutions online fixed by the community. Faster than any typical Windows systems relatively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it breaks. I would not say it is unstable but sometimes they do break. There are not much options on drivers for third party hardwares. Rest assured I don't dislike much in ubuntu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using Windows in our team and when we shifted to ubuntu we saved a hell lot of money. Also since it's lightweight and super faster than windows the productivity increased.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Install Ubuntu and I guarantee you that you won't go back to Windows again.
Good overall experience
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a very efficient and customizable OS. As it is open source there is a lot of online support as well, for any issues that you might face. Generally fast and not bloated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it doesn’t support the hardware of the laptop you install it on. For example, there were no drivers available for the Dolby Atmos speakers of my Lenovo laptop. These are slight issues with using an open source OS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had worked with Ubuntu for over a year now, and I used it for most if not all of my tasks related to coding.
Ubuntu Provides a Best-in-Class Operating System
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a stable, secure, and freely available operating system that works efficiently on every computer I have ever tried it on. Not only does it deliver a great desktop for laptops and computers, but it is a fantastic choice for running a server as well. It is my top choice when it comes to operating systems, whether I am using it on a machine locally or running a web-server and other server-side applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Ubuntu since the very first version. There are very few things that I dislike about it. Although it might not be compatible with certain pieces of software I might need to run from time to time (e.g. Windows applications), those instances are very rare, and 99.9% of the time there is an alternative available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Among other things, my company runs its own Software as a Service (SaaS) product. As one of the best supported Linux operating systems available, and one of the most popular for running a server, Ubuntu is indispensable to my company. Our return on investment has been measured in a relatively short period of time, and selecting Ubuntu has provided us the opportunity to focus on our business, rather than getting tied up in system administration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not hesitate to use Ubuntu for your daily use, development needs, and/or operations. It is a great all around operating system that will never leave you dissatisfied.
Ubuntu is a great operating system
What do you like best about the product?
It is open source. In this way, developers can further develop the programs or use parts of other programs for their own programs.
You have already installed many programs from the beginning (pdf viewer, office, image processing, Gaim-ICQ, etc.)
Rights management is significantly better than in Windows. I can share which user can see and change which files.
If I change the important settings where the system could be damaged, I must enter the root password.
You can select new programs from a list and download and install them automatically. It is no longer necessary to search the Internet for possible sources of downloading programs.
The update is automatic for the operating system and all programs installed over the Internet.
Multithreading is more enjoyable. Programs do not block the system so fast.
The 3D desktop is really elegant.
I can use almost all programs.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes drivers are missing. Especially for hardware.
Drag and drop does not work perfectly from the beginning.
3D acceleration of graphics cards is generally not activated from the beginning.
Windows opens a little slower.
There are not many Windows-based programs for Linux.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I knew this operating system thanks to my work colleagues who taught me how it works. At the beginning I had difficulties in understanding how it worked since the initial configuration posed some problems. Today I use it every day improving the performance of my two computers and making my applications work with better performance and capacity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Open operating system that allows a more efficient configuration than conventional software with a large community of users that solve any doubt.
