Good enough
What do you like best about the product?
I like reports that merge page views, clics on my web, and other activities on my website with my revenue.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't make reports on my own. I had to ask for them if I wanted to see the information in another format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ROAS and ROI.
I like that it connects my marketing cost somewhat accurately with my revenue so I can see a proper ROAS automatically.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take some time to think about the reports you want. You have to request them made and this takes time, so before setting everything up, consider how you like to read and visualize the data and how many dashboards you need.

The Qlik Engine and data load script which help you to write complex syntaxes make from QlikSense a powerful BI tool.

Qliksense don’t have multiple visualisations posibilities like QlikView or Tableau

Do not use qlikview only for data visualization but mainly for investigate the data by transformation
Qlik Sense as a self-service tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, self-service oriented, data preparation via data manager and its functionality, nice vizualizations. Very fast possibility to create your own visualizations. Lots of data sources which can be used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Poor customization options - colors, fonts, axes, positioning, pixel perfect missing, master items and variables not possible to use during the collaboration process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To give end users to create their own quick analysis based on external data as an excel files, txt files or even databases. To have possibility to create dashboards if I have the data. No need to wait for dwh, dm building or etl processes.
Qlik View comes when we work for huge amount of data (in lakhs of lines)
What do you like best about the product?
Appetite to use with really huge data which excel can't really work with and no hangs up issue can modify data as needed makes statistics and models
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing as such , takes long time for a good change , other wise one issue with small fonts and spec guy like me needs to zoom things up

using it for really good amount of data , for statics and formula based analysis models and data cleaning

Qlik Sense Transformed out BI Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The product Data Model used the Associative Engine which enables us create one large data model from multiple sources in its rawest form. This can be accessed as one source of truth. All the aggregations and subsets are reading from the same data model. This empowers the users when making data selections and insights into see all the data in context. This saves time to get solution built or create sub solutions for projects. Qlik Sense has improved our Data Literacy and Data Self-reliance with in our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I don't like is that the product is limited for alerting. We created out own in script email alerts to solve this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our key benefits are: Time savings to get data out. No hidden data lost in scripts. Can see all the data in context. Easier to govern the data ecosystem and maintain good data quality.

When starting out watch YouTube videos in the Qlik channel. Play on the Desktop version to get the hang of things.

Qlik works on constant improvements, both visually as well as data feed and releases every 3 months a new version making sure that the latest technology is always available.
Easy to implement, userfriendly and scalable

QlikSense is very straightforward to implement, easy to access and use for end users and the solutions are scalable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The standard BI & analytics features are limited compared to QlikView and meta data and security governance can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extracting data from source systems, merging different data set into one data model, transforming the data to increase the value for our end users, and visualisation the data in dashboards and reports for our end users.

Self-Service capabilities and very easy use for business people in case of ad-hoc reports

lack of features supporting standard IT development

Advanced Self-Service analytics done by business users without heavy IT background
