What do you like best about the product?
Most user-friendly and interactive tool for data driven decisions. Best visualizations that gives you the opportunity to create the best dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of one, but some think Qlik is more expensive than PowerBi/Tableau. It's maybe in the first year, but not in the long-term.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Near real-time planning and shipping of our goods to our project sites. Combining and visualizing the data from 3 different sources into 1 app. This results in more accurate planning and shipping on time of our goods from supplier via our distribution centre to the project sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering Qlik , PowerBi and Tableau. Please make a good dashboard which you get the feeling of what the Associative Engine is all about. The associative engine is the best and PowerBI and Tableau make no chance against this.

Qlik sense is a great data visualization tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, it's easy to navigate. Qlik does a good job with presenting data.

I wish there were more 'how to' videos, specifically within the data load editor.

I'm currently an app developer using Qlik Sense. I like that the tool can easily connect to almost any connection, Excel, csv, mdb, etc...
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Read as much as you can about the tool. Learn about all of the roles people in your organization will potentially play, when using your product. Companies need to clearly define what a standard user is, as well as what's the expectation for the standard user. Same goes for the developers.
Also, for the love of humanity, please send some money on training. The company I work for chose to spend $0 on Qlik training, and we have 30 people who develop in Qlik....

I like all the improvements in SaaS version

Sometimes it could be slow loading sheet or in transitions

A lot! I use QS for internal business analysis, to discover in wich assets invest, projects tracking, etc.

Analyze the TSO. Right now I extremely recommended SaaS version

The way we can simply connect to multiple sources of information, blend it, analyze and search data is so fast and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The responsive design to build charts some times hinders development of pixel perfect dashboard and lack of feature to more granular layout customization like font size and font color.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Qlik Sense allow me to deliver new data analysis very fast compared to SQL based BI tools. We solved problems related to reporting automation and data standardization. Also users are able to get information so fast using the associate engine that helps then to freely explore the data available to them. They can also create their own dashboards and analysis as Qlik Sense provides self-service capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using this tool for long time, I am a satisfied customer of Qlik Sense which is providing me amazing services in getting rid of the complexities that are associated with my every day working. This is a cloud based application which is very easy to install as you can easily shift you data to it. It is the technical tool which helps in giving the better insight of the data. It has enabled me to easily search any particular aspect of the entire working of my organization and also I can now unfold the new ways of improving the analytical reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only the technical person can use it, if you want to implement this tool in your organization you are bound train your staff, thus a steep learning curve is always associated with it, Moreover I they provide no training videos about the software usage, which is not service oriental act.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool also assists me in automating the main and repetitive task thus I save my time and enhance the work smooth operation of the workflow. It is so much reliable that I found no difficulty in selecting any cloud for data revolution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will not recommend this tool to all the companies but only I will suggest it to the retails business it will help you to have detailed analysis about your entire project working and thus you can have the better insight about your revenue.

- Things are not as easily customizable as say, Power BI or Tableau. E.g. font size, font type, text location, etc. No overlay/floating visuals capability as well.
- Complex front-end development makes the dashboards a bit sluggish and slow.

If you need to dig into some data set with thousands or millions of lines, do it in Qlik Sense. You will immediately find the outliers and odd data.
Somehow it will pop up in front of you when start sorting and doing selections. There are no unapproved ways of looking at the data.
I promise, every time I start digging I find "funny data." Doesn't matter what kind of data I look into.
