Very minimalistic and easy to use project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
- Less complex than large scope management tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Great visibility of capacities and overbookings

- Drag & Drop functionality tends to be a bit buggy in Safari on Mac

- Getting a realistic overview of available ressources and overbookings
- Planning 4-6 weeks ahead to prevent bottlenecks during high work load periods
- Giving C-Level a convinient overview of ressources without having to invest a lot of effort to learn a new tool

Float simplifies the team work and gives you a general view of the tasks to be performed
What do you like best about the product?
the possibility to have an overview of tasks for more tha two colleagues at once, and the access to all the projects the team is working on
What do you dislike about the product?
you cannot copy the tasks from one day to the next; when you log the tasks the exact hours and minutes are not displayed clearly

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about float is making it easier to organize, plan, move things around. It's also very colorful which makes my calendar looks very interesting :) It's just so cool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only downside I can see is, it's not sync with outlook so I don't need to update my calendar on both applications. This way, I'll save more time and it's easier to look at it on both if it's both sync at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great in seeing the work timeline of myself and the team. But I think it's easier to the administrator in assigning task for the whole team. I'ts easy to identify if the person is available or not.

It is a good tool for staying on track and is easy to follow as it is laid out very well

I haven't managed to be able to figure out how to change the title and hours of a task once the time has been logged for it or if I've already changed the title and detail once previously

User interface, the way it is created and it works. I appreciate that was up an runing everyday since 2021

Project management is more clear and all the memebers know on what is working each ones

The best thing about it is that with just a quick look you can check your calendar, your team's calendar and move your expected schedule around.

The only immediate downside is that you can't record the exact timestamps of your work, e.g when you log in and when you log out. That has some legal downsides in some countries.

Helps track the time you spend working and identify which tasks were you doing at any point on time. This is useful when clients demand records of our work or for us to do reviews.

What do you like best about the product?
I especially appreciate Float's intuitive, easy-to-use resource management interface. It offers a comprehensive set of useful collaboration tools that make it easy to manage projects and assign tasks over time. In addition, its sophisticated reporting and editing features are complemented by efficient drag-and-drop functionality. This, combined with reliable budget forecasting capabilities, ensures that more detailed long-term plans can be created that take into account the actual resources available to you - in addition to easily connecting to third-party platforms such as Slack, Teamwork or Google Calendar via viable integration options!
What do you dislike about the product?
We found that Float has some features that we weren't very happy with, such as the autocomplete feature not being adequate for searches when trying to find a specific file. This is because Float doesn't have enough data about our organization and its needs to effectively personalize it; however, updates are slowly addressing this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps me stay on top of my workload and task scheduling. With its comprehensive resource utilization tracking, I can easily see what tasks are assigned to each team member, which helps us balance resources across our various projects.

At this point I dont dislike anything in particular and its been over a year.

In my company it helps manage everyone's working hours.
Simple to use scheduling system
What do you like best about the product?
Something I enjoy best about float is the ease with which you can change many people's schedules within the same view, as well as the ease with which you can add a new project or extend time on a current one.
What do you dislike about the product?
Float's user interface appears to be outdated. The colour scheme may need an update, and the filter option can be a little unclear about what to pick and from where, but generally, it's nice and manageable.

Managing all of our tasks while maintaining visibility for all members of the consulting team, regardless of position or experience.
