It's a fairly easy way to track time.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the app you can install on the computer which makes starting and stopping jobs really easy

You can't edit start times while the job is in motion
When amending times, if you amend the start time, it automatically amends the end time.

I like the visual layout and options of the web browser version. I find it clear amd easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it hard to use the desktop version, this could function better.

We can find project utlisation easily and I can track my own time to ensure we are working as to forecast against cost estimates.

I don't like how the timing automatically change if you retrospectively change a time period - I want to do it manually myself

What do you like best about the product?
Float helps me plan my day. I add tasks to time slots and it’s easy to use. I get more done and still have time to rest. It’s great for time management.
What do you dislike about the product?
One small problem I saw is when I try to change plan for one day, it change the whole month sometimes. It little annoying when I just want to fix one day only. If they fix this, then Float will be perfect. Still, it’s a very good app and I tell others to try it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps me manage my time and plan my work better. It keeps all my tasks in order so I don’t forget anything. I can see what to do and when, which helps me finish work on time and feel less stressed. It also gives me more free time after work.

One of the most appealing aspects of Float is its intuitive interface. The platform is visually clean and organized, making it easy to navigate and understand, even for those new to resource management software.
I started using Float 10 years ago. As our business evolved, we switched to different competitors, but we always missed the simplicity and straightforwardness of Float. That's why we switched back to Float 3 years ago, and we’re still glad we did. We've been using it every day since.

What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on your needs, Float's simplicity might mean it lacks some of the more complex features that other competitors offer. For us, however, this is actually a positive, as it makes Float easy to integrate and use daily across all our projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small team of 10, Float helps us organize our tasks weeks in advance and identify available time slots. Since our industry (branding) is quite dynamic, our plans often change. Float's interface allows us to easily adjust the schedule in real-time, every day.

I like that you can drag to extend anf reduce time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a lot of recurring meetings so would be great if I could add these to save more time. I like allocating when time spent by set times as it helps me to keep track.
