Float helps me plan my day
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the simple interface, as it allows me to easily find my tasks and mark them as done once I finish them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m really disappointed that I can’t create icons, especially since having emojis is essential for me.
I wish it were a bit easier to create tasks however.

Float is helping me organise my growing list of jobs and tasks to attend to through the day and work week.
Intuitive and Easy, But Scrolling Long Lists Can Be Tedious

could take a while to scroll down long, shared floats with many individuals

Effortless Workload Planning with Float
What do you like best about the product?
Float makes it really simple to plan and track my workload. I also use it as a to-do tool. Every Monday I plan my week using the allocation feature, so I know exactly what I’ll be working on. Working at an agency, it’s been a great way to stay organized across projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m very happy with Float overall. The only small issue I’ve noticed is that some meetings sometimes appear twice, so I just remove the duplicates manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps me manage my time and workload clearly. Before using it, it was hard to see how much I could actually take on each week. Now I can plan ahead, balance client projects, and avoid overbooking myself. It also makes it easy for my team to see what everyone is working on, which helps with coordination across projects.
Clear Scheduling at a Glance, But Limited Budgeting and App Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
The clarity of scheduling and immediate information at a glance
What do you dislike about the product?
The budgeting capabilities are very limited to time, and cross app-integrations are also limited (cake based only)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule in staff on projects at any given time interval. We used to manage staff on outlook shared calendars which was limited and did not screen double/triple-booking works, and was difficult to read. Now we can see who's projects you are working on and how much time is allocated.
Fast Updates, But Deletion Needs a Safety Check

The Speed at which the updates are relayed.

it is to easy to delete something. Deleting should require confirmation

Customizable and Visually Appealing, But Lacks Scenario Planning Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
The visual layout is great, love the options to customise phases, budgets, colours etc

Very manual, no option to scenario plan without having to shift the actual schedule

We are able to plan a full project in various phases into the team's schedule
Intuitive Scheduling Made Easy, Minor Limitations for Short Tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Float's interface is very simple and intuitive - in the best way. You can easily manipulate your schedule in real time and cross reference against other people's schedules. I always have Float open to see changes in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am unable to adjust my schedule to items that are less than 15 minutes, which is a minuscule inconvenience for items that are 10 minutes.

Float allows me to showcase my schedule and cross-reference the schedules of other employees. This allows effective project management for short term and long term goals.
Great for Team Visibility and Advanced Planning
What do you like best about the product?
Seeing what your team are working on at one time. Being able to plan your days weeks in advance to let others know what you are working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Things are always changing so your Float might have to be updated afterwards to reflect the changes during your day.

How many hours are being dedicated to different projects.

What do you like best about the product?
You can update bookings to several members of the team
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the view is confusing. It would be great to have several view formats.
