It's intuitiveness and ease of use are great!

The fact we have to complete timesheets.

Having to log time as a consultant. Using float enable the accurate allocation of resources.

Float tracks my jobs and I no longer have to go through all my notes to send invoice as a freelancer.

Not Flaots fault BUT many times I have to request that I'm added to the list to add my times for jobs. Perhaps if this was linked ot he creation of New jobs to begin with we would run more smoothly?

Not having to submit my job times etc at end of weeek anymore.

Float: Versatile Project Management System
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive design, Clean and streamlines UI, availability of a lot of colors, Ease of integration with our other internal Apps, quick response of tech & customer support, very supportive aftersales.
We've tried different PM tools and we keep coming back to Float due to its simplicity of use and ability to integrate.

What do you dislike about the product?
Allocations would not update in realtime across the team, causing an agency wide prompt to be sent to ask user to refresh their floats

Intuitive Scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Float daily for the past 8 months for scheduling our design and development team. The original setup was quick and easy and myself and the team have found it easy to use from both a project management and production team perspective. Some of the features we were looking for that Float delivered on are the abilty to set custom work hours for the team, drag and drop visual layout, Google calendar integration, differrent team views and prompt customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing Float didn't offer was a native integration with our ticketing system Clickup which is unfortunate, but we haven found project creation is quite quick in Float.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving our team visibilty on the upcoming schedule and allowing the project management team to better utilise time.
Ease of viewing and logging
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of viewing my jobs for the week, and logging in the time quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to log time against a job until you are assigned to it. It is also too easy to accidently delete items on your board.

Overview of weeks allocated work, and ease of logging time on a job.

I like that float is simple to use and you can easily see schedules.

I wish Float was a bit quicker and easier to use such as having the option to allow all team members to see all matters.

Migrating from Hravest to Float

the user experience and how frindly it is working with it , and the ability to integratie the float api with other applications.

cleandar sync still has some issues we had to create a a extenstion that takes our cleandar event and log them in float .

I've been using Float for some time now, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in terms of simplicity and convenience. The platform makes it incredibly easy to log my time, which is essential for keeping track of my work hours and ensuring that projects stay on schedule. Also, the clear calendar view helps me manage my workload effectively, ensuring I stay on track.
One of the standout features is its intuitive interface. Creating new projects is a breeze, with all the necessary options available. Everything can be done quickly and efficiently without getting bogged down in complicated menus.

What do you dislike about the product?
After a while, I realized that some of the options were more complex to use than expected and not suited to the type of projects we run. In the end, we managed to find workarounds in the software to ensure that everything works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's beneficial for my company to better track time and create a streamlined schedule for our projects. So far, Float has been an excellent tool to help us with this task, giving us a better overview of our workflow and enabling us to understand areas where we could improve our project management.
