Easy to Use and Organize, Minor Glitches Occasionally

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about FLOAT is the easy of use. It is easy to move around projects, color code them, and get reports from the data that I am using. I use it on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are small glitches that make it difficult to use something. For example, recently my FLOAT is causing me to reconnect & reload the page a lot. It is constantly having to reconnect. I also have it where when I refresh the data, my cursor turns to the delete mode automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool allows me to clearly visualize the schedules of the colleagues I manage. The layout is intuitive, making it easy for me to search, add, and edit information as needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Search: Search and filtering options are really powerful, letting quickly locate specific projects, team members, or even open time slots without hassle.
Visualization: Visual scheduling interface is definitely the best part. Seeing the timeline view with everyone's capacity laid out so clearly makes resource planning incredibly straightforward.
Performance: fast and responsive
Overall: User-friendly design
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard: Lack of a central dashboard landing page to get a quick overview on log in.
Summary header: Search for a team member and wish it provides a concise summary of their current assignments instead of just showing their timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency, Allocation, Resource visibility and planning. Helps with a clear, visual overview of everyone's capacity, enabling scheduling projects more accurately, avoid overloading people, and forecast our resource needs much better. This benefits us by making project planning faster and more reliable.

Great for for every day use. Job History could have a Better Search for Older Projects

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
organized and helpful to look back on history of jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
hard to scroll back on old jobs. would love a tab or a way to find something from 2 yrs ago... or even 4 yrs ago. similar to the photos app in the iphone. I would look for a job or keyword in slack and find out that I worked on it on May 9th, 2022, and then I'd be able to go back on float to find the job and all the info we needed. Had to do that manually which was a little harder than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
organization and central hub to organize myself and team.

Effortless Scheduling, But Needs Better Time Tracking and Reporting

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Float is how easy it makes planning and managing workloads. The interface is simple and intuitive, and I can quickly see who’s working on what, which really helps with scheduling and avoiding overlaps. It’s also great for keeping the whole team aligned without needing constant check-ins.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Float is that while it’s great for scheduling, it can sometimes feel a bit limited when it comes to tracking actual time spent versus planned time. It would be even better if there were more flexible reporting options or deeper integrations to make reviewing workloads and forecasts easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps solve the problem of managing team capacity and workload visibility. It makes it easy to see everyone’s availability, plan ahead, and adjust schedules quickly when priorities change. This has helped me and the team stay more organised, avoid overbooking, and make sure projects are properly resourced without needing long back-and-forth discussions.
