Float Delivers Fast, Flexible Project Management for Teams of Any Size
What do you like best about the product?
Float is a very powerful tool that gives you real-time insight in projects, planning, time tracking and budgets. All in one single well working app. When using Float, you'll love how fast it is, no more waiting for your reports to load. It's very flexibel in the way you can set it up and use it so it will easily fit all your requirements from smaller to larger companies. And finally, nog only myself as a project manager / planner loves working with Float, it was very easy to get my team on board because of the way it fits their wants and needs too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike about Float for me. It is a tool that truly helps me manage projects and deliver them in time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float fills the bridge between planned resources and actual logged time. Everyone one knows a planning is just a planning, in day to day operations thins vary or change. Float gives me all the information I need to act on in a timely maner and helps me and my team to grow and improve with truly use full insights.
Effortless Project Time Tracking for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to controll all that who many hours my tema spending time to projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is pricing. It costs more than usual for each of my team. Also the time logging features more expensive too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can calculate project timing, how many hours team spend on that projects so I can calculate the cost for that project then add my mirgins and fix spricing for that.
Float - Allocation & Tracking System
What do you like best about the product?
I find it simple to log my time and handle project allocation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to prepare the monthly report for the employee because it provides me with too much information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to log time, and I can track employee timelogs on a daily basis. I also appreciate being able to view each employee's allocation.
Beautiful and Intuitive, But Search Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It is very aesthetically pleasing, intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes project colours can be overlapping, search functionality can be improved

Float helps plan timelines, manage projects and resources in a very intuitive manner
Simple to Use with Great Team Oversight
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity for using Float and the ability for oversight of the team

Im not sure, I dont think I have any issues with the software

It solves our ability to plan the whole year in advance and share the load across our teams.

User-Friendly Interface, But Filter Options Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It has a very clear and user friendly interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The filter options are not very refined that is if I search up a specific client, it does not directly flow to the area which I am looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to plan out my work for months in advance.
Effective for Scheduling, Needs More Project Management Features
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Float makes project allocation straightforward, allowing me to efficiently distribute tasks. The setup process was also very straightforward since everything was already set up for me when I started using it. Additionally, I find it valuable that Float helps my team member by showing her what projects I'm working on and forecasting for the upcoming weeks, even if it doesn't directly solve my personal problems. This feature aids in better transparency and team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Float is not solving any of my problems directly, yet it helps one of my team members, which can feel indirect and less beneficial for me personally. Additionally, the inability to manage projects directly within Float is a significant limitation. Project management is a crucial aspect of my workflow that I wish could be handled within the system. This aspect limits the efficiency and completeness of the tool in my daily tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps my team by showing project allocations and forecasting upcoming tasks, aiding in better team planning and resource management.
Absolutely Love This Software!
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking has become easier, and the planning structure is much improved from an admin perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be really helpful to have integration with Asana, allowing the timer to be started directly from within Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing tasks and organizing time across several projects has become much simpler. The process of planning and keeping track of different responsibilities is now more straightforward.
Effortless Time Tracking, But Beware of Accidental Logging
What do you like best about the product?
Flat is easy to use, and a useful way of tracking hours worked across many different projects, as well as an effortless way to review the years' hours worked come tax return time. It's also pretty good for knowing in advance which times of the year are already overloaded and shouldn't have extra projects added to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that if one accidentally drags a box sideways when clicking on it logging hours, it'll fill in all the rest of everything scheduled on the day even though that stuff hasn't been worked on for those hours at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float makes it easier to report to my superiors about the hours worked, as well as track them personally, ensuring early detection of if a project won't be profitable and (working from home) an easy way to demonstrate productivity if queried when qualifying for stuff like pay rises.
