Effortless Time Logging, But Needs Better Asana Integration

The block wise time logging feature that easily lets me log my time

Float is useful as its very easy to use and helps to keep record of the detailed work

Float is a very Good Application as it helps us to keep a track of my work with details so that i can review and verify my time spent .

There is no such thing which i dislike about slack

Float is helping with time management and flow and also helps in organizing the data and work.
Time to make user friendly.

We can easly update the time booking even in mobile appication.

In mobile application there the dropdown in not user friendly and it will not select at once.

This tool lets me keep track of what my colleagues are working on. It's a great time and effort organization tool to avoid double booking of projects.

In my opinion, the user interface could use some improvement. I find it somewhat challenging to manage the scheduling, and I think a few adjustments could make the experience smoother.

I believe it's important to ensure that everyone on the team has tasks to work on, and I try to avoid duplicating efforts with my colleagues, as that would be a waste of time. I also make sure that I have assignments lined up for the week, particularly since my manager can assign projects to me. This approach helps me plan how I will use my time in the company going forward.
Float Delivers Seamless Project Transparency
What do you like best about the product?
I find Float incredibly beneficial for managing our project resources. It was a smooth transition from our previous tools to Float due to its ease of setup. The simplicity of the interface really stands out, making the process of editing time seamless and efficient. Float provides excellent transparency in project planning, allowing us to see exactly what our team is working on. This feature is pivotal for us as it facilitates excellent project management. Additionally, the ability to export timesheets directly is a substantial time-saver. What I particularly appreciate is how it helps us prepare for our weekly team meetings, aligning our efforts and ensuring we stay on track. Overall, the seamless integration and user-friendly features make Float an invaluable tool for our organization.

I dislike the lack of integration with AI chatbots in Float.

I use Float to export timesheets directly, gain transparency in project planning by seeing what people are working on, and organize weekly meetings, enhancing teamwork.
Easy Time Logging, Needs More Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Float since May when I joined Exponent, and it has significantly helped me in logging my time daily. This feature allows my team to see how much time I spend on specific tasks, which I guess aids in client billing plans. Compared to other tools I've used before, Float's user interface is particularly nice and stands out for its ease of use. I can quickly log time by just clicking on the time slot, selecting the project, and adding an optional comment. This simplicity is amazing because it doesn't force me to write unnecessary descriptions. I appreciate how easy Float makes it to track the hours spent on tasks during the week, and I can also check monthly summaries effortlessly. It also provides great information about holidays and sick leaves, which is incredibly helpful. Float has become a part of our company's workflow, and I genuinely like it much better than the tool I used at my previous company, Teleopti. Its ease of use would make me consider using it again if I had the chance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I initially struggled with the setup process of Float and had to consult the HR team to understand it better. It took me a week or two to get fully comfortable with using it, which made the onboarding feel somewhat challenging. Additionally, it lacks integration options or automation tools, which could enhance its functionality significantly. The absence of such features prevents me from maximizing its potential and automating repetitive tasks. Although logging time is easy, the system occasionally forces manual operations that could be automated, making it slightly less efficient.

Flexible Resource Management, But Needs Project Management Features

Still lacking of the project management.

This tool makes it easier to manage resources more effectively, allowing for simple tracking and switching between resources. I also find it to be very flexible.

Ease of consultation and readability (much more pleasant than an Excel schedule, for example)

Sometimes slow to load and poorly suited for use on a smartphone

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I am able to allocate tasks using float and fill in my time sheet seamlessly. I also love that you can plan ahead and assess if there is too much pressure that is being exerted on a certain user and reallocate to other users with fewer tasks. I use it on a daily basis to create tasks and plan what i will be doing on a daily. I love the interface, it is user interactive and does not require a lot from a user like myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not think there's anything i dislike about float honestly as it it has intelligence too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task allocation has been an issue I think, with management trying to understand what employees are doing, this has resolved that issue as now management can log-in and access the tasks allocated to users.
Accurate Task Tracking, But Room for Improvement in Hour Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
With this tool, you can accurately monitor the amount of time you dedicate to each task.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s possible to misreport the hours you’ve worked, which makes the system less efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps me track the time I spend on each project, making it easy to see whether I'm dedicating time to unnecessary tasks or not.
