Simple tool
What do you like best about the product?
easy to use, keeps my timeline clean and simple
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more integrations with the software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It organizes my tasks.
Finally -- time management that works for project managers and visual designers
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I (as a project manager) can manage time easily for our team of two, but can easily add contract workers, and that visually it works for my designer as well -- he struggled with really seeing how his week needed to flow when just using tasklists, like Basecamp.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anything I haven't liked has been added (e.g. ability to do recurring tasks, reordering tasks). It's a small thing, but we also spend way too much time trying to figure out colors for all of our projects after using the default ones. I would love to be able to add a project from the schedule interface -- like when I go to schedule time and I type in a project, it tries to find it; if it's not there, it would be nice to just have "add this project" without having to exit out of the scheduling box and go into Project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to easily plan and then communicate on our respective tasks for the week. With Basecamp (what we use for project management currently), we could pull to-do lists, but we didn't have a macro view on the week or the month with the time that it would take to complete those tasks. My designer felt like he couldn't really "'visualize" his week and couldn't communicate easily what tasks were taking more or less time than needed. Float has proved to be invaluable for time management and communication.
A great purpose-built tool which helps solve a huge problem in agencies.
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the simplicity of this tool. It doesn't take much to set up and only asks you for as much information as it needs in order to be useful. Because it is assumed that the tool will be updated frequently, there isn't a lot of extra data points that are required to set up a person's schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some ways the tool can feel a bit stiff or limited. Because it's built to really do one thing well-- scheduling, new users might look for other features like time tracking or dependencies which are found in similar project planning tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to plan out multiple projects with a small team and determining when work can start and get done. We are able to see who is available to work on things.

As easy as it can be!
What do you like best about the product?
It might not be the most resourceful tool to manage roadmaps but it excels on what it does. Easy to use and since the last update it's great performance-wise.
The shortcuts are one of my preferred features as it helps me to perform simple tasks effortlessly.

What do you dislike about the product?
It could have a couple of additional resources/features such as integrations with popular team management tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an Agency, one of our challenges it's to always stay on top of the resources allocation over a myriad of projects. With Float we are able to do that with little effort.

What do you like best about the product?

There is nothing to dislike, we love it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using Float.
Simple too to manage teams of developers and more
What do you like best about the product?
Float gives me an instant view of what my team is working on day to day and in future. The filters allow me to show just the information I need. Tags allow project managers to book the correct resources for specific tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface was very slow to scroll, however a recent update improved this. A feature I would personally like to see is history, as currently there is no way to see if a booking has been pulled or moved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing project managers to book developers themselves based on tags for disciplines. It saves me having to do all resourcing myself.
Good for projects

By now, i still don't have any cons about Float.
