Deceptively Simple
What do you like best about the product?
Drag and Drop functionality. Colorful and organized interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult and confusing to know who is on my team for a giving project. Time tracking could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much better time management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Difficult to accurately track time.

What do you like best about the product?
Makes it easy for me to organize my day. I can log in in the morning and know exactly what I need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard for me to contact the person whom assigned me that task.

Time management.
Simple and straightforward to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is very easy to add projects and tasks within the same view. I also love that the scheduling view looks very similar to Google Calendar on both desktop and mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there is a better way to add project start and end dates as well as viewing project budget burn that would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prioritization of tasks in scheduling view as well as marking tasks tentative or completed has been very helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a straightforward, easy-to-use tool that supplements an already established process within your organization vs. being the groundwork for all project and resource management, this is the tool for you.
Great way to view the scope of a proejct
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to zoom out and view the entire lifespan of a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Clicking into a task can be a little clunky, especially when it comes ot logging time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float has been great for managing bandwith.

Float is great no matter what size team you have!

This application is very easy to use. I am able to see my schedule, any other colleagues schedule or view the schedule for the project

Have to scroll a lot to see future months

I like how visually seeing my workload for the day/forseeable future looks and how simple the initial use is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the site is very slow and the scroll doesn't work. It is hard to set up new teams and remove/add when creating my own team. I recognise I don't do this very often myself but it's not simple to navigate and find on initial use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's super easy to ready what I'm working on each day and throughout the week. I can see what I'm doing at a quick glance which is super helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very good for large group organisation. Visibly very helpful. A little glitchy at times but workable and tends to get sorted.
From the user perspective on Float
What do you like best about the product?
Good GUI, good visual to look at the overall view of scheduled activities for many months, fairly easy to use, customizable according to the user preference
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though I am able to import the Float Calendar on to my Microsoft Outlook (as most of the world uses it now) for a side-by-side or a overlapped visual, it is unable to do a two-way talk-back or merge option. This entails user like me to spend extra time to copy-paste back and forth, which I think is not productive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team calendar that can be shared by many, with scheduling group using it on individual calendars for job allocation

Good software for group use with access to scheduling people/team to populate individual calendars
Ideal for Tracking Schedules
What do you like best about the product?
I am a production coordinator in a company of 150+. Our team uses Float to track editors' schedules and assigned projects, and it's great! I'm able to quickly see who's available, and when they may have to jump on other projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular, although I only use Float to track schedules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to know exactly what editors are available and when, without any complication as to when they're going to take PTO, when they have revisions, etc.
Overall pretty good software
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use and make changes by dragging and dropping jobs across people and times
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't set up templates or preferences for new jobs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We struggled to see the bigger picture when scheduling. We used to use excel but it was a pain to use and wasn't very visual.
