A simple and effective tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love Float's simplicity and ease of use. It is an essential tool to managing our department.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the slightly labourious need to scroll across and down pages to access the data I need quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps me reduce complexities, by allowing me to better manage resource across multiple teams and projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the automatic notifications sent to email and I like the visibility from several angles. It reduces the guess-work out of time management. It is nice to follow the trail of updates (who updated the calendar and when). In short, it’s great for traceability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t dislike anything. I have the App too. It works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not had problems. When I had questions, customer service was prompt.

Float is helpful.

I like that you can search per project/person/location/PO number; all departments in the company can utilize without question

haven't found a dislike yet, I am still learning the ins and outs however

Time Management, having a localized that the entire company may utilize is fantastic

I like that it's very easy to use and visually not overwhelming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I DISLIKE per say, but I think for what our team needs, in terms of accessing the calendar on-the-go it could be a bit more user-friendly. Our team has a lot of people who are not very tech-friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
Very simple and intuitive to use with a great interface that shows what you're scheduled for at a quick glance. Like that it also shows tentative bookings as well

It doesn't have as many features as other scheduling software I've used.

Our company has to juggle many different types of resources, including freelance, and float is a great way for everyone to stay on top of what they should be doing

Can be a little clunky and glitchy at times in regards to creating new projects under the same client

Keeping track of time spent on projects and how they spend their day,
Really useful tool for managing dev workflows.
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to drag and drop time allocations in, so you can quickly shuffle projects and resources around and see the impact of it, very helpful for trying out different approaches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing reoccurring events can be a bit of a faff, it's easy to make a mistake and end up with multiple copies of the same thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly when a change of plan occurs (i.e. resources of timeframes change, or another project comes along), float allows me to quickly try out new schedules and to see the impact that has on the various projects.
Basic Program - Needs More Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and understand visual layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
User administration and lack of reporting functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to task/resource manage many moving deadlines up to a minute by minute basis.
