Helps organise the work

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that every user can customise Float for their needs. With different colours, everything is very clear who is working on what exactly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to get used to task management. It's very easy to get tired with splitting and moving tasks as it's not the most intuitive thing Float has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very easy to check what we are going to be working on for the next moths. Because everyone finds it very useful, people want to use it more and more.

What do you like best about the product?
Float is a really helpful piece of software, especially for running studio resourcing. The flexibility of being able to move jobs between different resources is great. Definitely one of the easiest resourcing tools i've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
After doing a a few resource moves the system gets a bit buggy and you have to refresh or sometimes log out and log back in again to see the changes you've made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float allows the entire studio to understand what they're booked on and gives the managers a greater understanding of when tasks are completed.

What do you like best about the product?
Float is very easy to use and makes you activities for the day very insight-full. As project manager it is possible to see all the activities for the team in a blink of an eye.

The sorting functions are great; by project, by team and more. Also adding repetitive tasks and scheduled items is very easy.

This tool improved our daily workflow greatly!
What do you dislike about the product?
For now we really don't have any dislikes at all. All our requirements for good planning/team management software are met in Float.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning of all current and upcoming projects. With Float we can easily see which employees are assigned to which project and who aren't. Because employees can be assigned to teams and projects it is easy to change the view to get different information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would really really recommend this for small and big businesses!

What do you like best about the product?
Different functionalities like assigning team members and color for each team so the visibility is great. Tags are also cool, I can search for similar projects to see how long they took.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project set up takes a few minutes but once you're done you can easily change task and put different milestones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, it helps us keep track of the timings.

What do you like best about the product?
That you can see availability team by team, rather than looking up specific people or scrolling through the entire company
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a lag in email updates, when changes have been made to my calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track other people's time other than my own

What do you like best about the product?
User interface
Fast

Could have linking to Jira tasks
Could have swimlanes to classify users instead of just filters. Swimlanes could be skillset, designation, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall task delegation in a unstructured organization where any developer can be picked from anywhere in the world to perform tasks. Float helps check who is free and who is occupied.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good software to delegate tasks between team members. Especially useful for disorganized organizations.
However, this can not replace tools like jira for project management.

- Color coding
- Easy keyboard shortcuts
- Smooth interface
- Detailed project information on budget, timing
- Information on activity e.g. what has been changed by whom
What do you dislike about the product?
- Sometimes it has issues updating in real time
- Drag and drop feature at times jumpy and unprecise
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a great overview of the capacities available from all our designers and copywriters. It has made resource management a lot easier.

Setting up the set time of appointment can sometimes result in unintended consequences as a result of how I'm used to setting up appointments in most other software. you must state the time in am and pm otherwise the software will assume an am time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization for people who are away from a desk or computer

What do you like best about the product?
Float has good scheduling capabilities and it brings out the best of the teams efforts. It has also pretty good reporting capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The schedule option for a week is a little confusing with two calendar options on the pop up. You need some time to get used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we solved the visibility into an engineers work along with the upcoming areas engineers are occupied with.

Start with float get your scheduling sorted.
