Great UI
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it looks. I get an instant overview of my day/week with a minimal number of clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could improve their accessibility a bit; e.g. task modal text element colour contrast isn't great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I often work on multiple different projects in a given day, so having a scheduling solution like this is really indispensable. Definitely helps when I'm filling out timesheets as well!

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to see what work I've got for the day, week and month. I can easily see other people's work and that allows me to adjust accordingly, it's easy to assign work to others. I enjoy the automated emails that show me the work for the week ahead as I can go through it as a part of my morning routine through my emails.

What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to say in regards to disliking the product, it does what it says and more; it's a good product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float allows our company, specifically the developers, to see what work we've got and for what clients. It shows it in a nice format and comes with features that help, like being able to select multiple users and seeing their individual floats in one screen on the same layer so I can see what everyone's Monday looks like. It makes collaboration significantly easier and makes our workflow a lot better.
Overall Float provide the tools and means to make mine and our teams work-life a lot better, it makes understanding the work we have easier, it allows us to easily delegate that work and see what other people have going on and it allows the project managers to understand what's happening which makes our daily stand-ups more manageable. It's a great tool for agile development teams.

If you're a business with a development team, especially if using Agile, then I'd highly recommend Float as it provides all the tools you need to perform well and stay on top of project work.

What do you like best about the product?
My favourite part about float is the ease to manage client work with colour coding and the capability to edit and view other colleagues schedules

Float could be improved with functions such as duplicate and reoccurring tasks

The ability to view colleagues schedules and the schedules of rooms has made office work much easier

The email notifications are so much more efficient than morning resource meetings.

There's nothing to dislike! Just wish it would do the work for us too :)

Great planning tool providing a nice overview and clear functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
Float offers a great way of planning your week when working on multiple different projects. It helps you keep track of your workload and enables you to plan ahead very concretely and punctually.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are many different projects the company is working on, it is sometimes difficult to properly distinguish between them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of time management, both for myself and within the team, as hours are easily distributed between team-members as well.
Easy to use and plan your resources but need to provide more features
What do you like best about the product?
Float is extremely easy to use and you can work on it like a pro from day one. Its dashboard is quite clean and uncluttered. I can see mine and my team's performance and plan clearly on the dashboard. We can send updates, assign its priority and plan everything in advance with its help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its quite an amazing planner but it still has a long way to go. It still doesn't offer some features such as proper functioning search bar, its dashboard is quite small, etc. But probably the whole point in using this software is less is more.

Great tool for managing workflow in the team
What do you like best about the product?
Came across Float while working on couple of crucial pilot projects for a big client . I'd like to appreciate how easy float made our lives in managing and allocating the workflow among team members. The UI is quite intuitive as you can view the entire team calendar in one place and add/ delete or modify tasks, jobs with ease (the colour coding is such a time saver and helps avoid confusion). Staying ahead of deadlines is so crucial in client deliverables and float was quite instrumental in helping do that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seemed to take up significant RAM space (at times) even while running in the background which really slowed down the system especially while working on a virtual machine. Otherwise, no other complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helped manage the workflow of the team (assigning projects to different team members, tracking free hours, off days or leaves, etc). The colour coding is such a simple yet a very impactful tool. The tutorial videos (such as the ones on youtube) really helped understand some of the possible functionalities much better bring in further efficiencies in work management.
A new way to manage projects!
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is condensed well and the schedule is available online, via the app and on browsers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to condense the view further so I can review what more people are doing for me, in a single pane. Also, I have an iPhone SXMax and the view on my screen is sometimes impeded by the top of my phone and the app doesn’t seem to register this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can access the work schedule at home. We will also be able to move our own project time if the time becomes obsolete.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It might take a while to move everyone across from the original platform to the new one. If possible, I’d recommend this is all done as soon as possible to avoid confusion.
