Managers love it!
What do you like best about the product?
The managers use float to quickly understand what tasks the analysts have on their plate. If you're in an industry like mine, goals and priorities can shift at the drop of a hat. Float provides a great solution to getting all hands on deck without completely disrupting normal flow of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some improvements could be made to inputting calendar data. The site lacks intuitive controls which could bring it on par with a modern cell phone app, or if it has them it doesn't do a great job of explaining the hotkeys.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is great for my managers to use. They look at it once a week to assess workloads for the week, and during emergencies to pull hands on deck
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Float provides an approach to quickly assess an entire company's workflow. This provides managers with an excellent tool to receive a potential emergency and attack it with the entire resources of the company, if need be. On a more ordinary basis, Float simply gives our managers a tool to view what the analysts are doing, while also serving its purpose as a public calendar.

Really useful tool that is well laid out and easy to use. Also works well on mobile devices. Not overcomplicated.

It would be nice to have Google calendar integration.

We use it as a work schedule across the business, it helps to keep track of what projects people are working on and when.

I like how user friendly the software is. It's easy to use, visually appealing, and it allows me to keep track of my previous/current/future tasks!

I don't have any dislikes about the software.

Float helps address how many hours we need to put towards a project. This way, in the future when we are doing similar projects, we know how many hours we need to allocate/bill to the client.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it looks. I get an instant overview of my day/week with a minimal number of clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could improve their accessibility a bit; e.g. task modal text element colour contrast isn't great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I often work on multiple different projects in a given day, so having a scheduling solution like this is really indispensable. Definitely helps when I'm filling out timesheets as well!

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to see what work I've got for the day, week and month. I can easily see other people's work and that allows me to adjust accordingly, it's easy to assign work to others. I enjoy the automated emails that show me the work for the week ahead as I can go through it as a part of my morning routine through my emails.

What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to say in regards to disliking the product, it does what it says and more; it's a good product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float allows our company, specifically the developers, to see what work we've got and for what clients. It shows it in a nice format and comes with features that help, like being able to select multiple users and seeing their individual floats in one screen on the same layer so I can see what everyone's Monday looks like. It makes collaboration significantly easier and makes our workflow a lot better.
Overall Float provide the tools and means to make mine and our teams work-life a lot better, it makes understanding the work we have easier, it allows us to easily delegate that work and see what other people have going on and it allows the project managers to understand what's happening which makes our daily stand-ups more manageable. It's a great tool for agile development teams.

If you're a business with a development team, especially if using Agile, then I'd highly recommend Float as it provides all the tools you need to perform well and stay on top of project work.

What do you like best about the product?
My favourite part about float is the ease to manage client work with colour coding and the capability to edit and view other colleagues schedules

Float could be improved with functions such as duplicate and reoccurring tasks

The ability to view colleagues schedules and the schedules of rooms has made office work much easier

The email notifications are so much more efficient than morning resource meetings.

There's nothing to dislike! Just wish it would do the work for us too :)

What do you like best about the product?
Float offers a great way of planning your week when working on multiple different projects. It helps you keep track of your workload and enables you to plan ahead very concretely and punctually.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are many different projects the company is working on, it is sometimes difficult to properly distinguish between them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of time management, both for myself and within the team, as hours are easily distributed between team-members as well.
