Excellent time management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone knows what they need to work on and for how long. As a user who's juggling multiple projects at any one time, it makes my daily work life a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using Float for roughly six months now and I have not yet encountered any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective time management is the biggest benefit.

Easy visual layout to follow, it's fast, perfect for managing time spent on projects for large teams.

It's a shame you can't copy and paste text from the information boxes.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a clean clean cut piece of software that allows us to easily see the work schedule for our entire team

It doesn't have the integration functionality with some of out other applications that we use

Using float has made it easier to keep on top of team projects and schedule everyone time in the most effective manner

Clear overview of the status of resource and easy to plan the future resource makeup.

Interface can be laggy and distorted when scrolling to the future or dragging and dropping resource blocks

Ability to easily resource people and get a clear overview of the makeup.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very visual and practical. Easy to use and see. Its simplicity is its higher strength.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a Project Gantt aditional tool. Tasks in the Project would appear on resources assignation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A more organized assignation for me and my colleagues.

What do you like best about the product?
We took the float trail for our company, a small digital agency with 25 employees. Overview is striking! Easy to handle and plan or shift team resources on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything to complain. just the adjustings for timeslots on days can be a little more precise (half hours).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We tested out float in the trial version, unfortunately our company decided against in terms of costs. would have loved to established it. way better than resoruceguru!

Seamless Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The filtering feature is the one thing I love most about float. Being able to filter on client, project and resource with ease makes every day a little easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting aspect could be more granular and provide more options to report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resourcing, with a busy studio and projects constantly moving around, float allows this to be simplified.

Use the trial, you'll want to carry on after that!
Fast and easy time planning for teams
What do you like best about the product?
It's quick and easy to plan out each member of the team's schedules and keep track of how things are progressing. Also, should business or client needs change, it's super simple to move things around.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sadly, there doesn't appear to be any way to have dependent tasks like you would in more of a traditional float chart style setup which would be handy for some projects where tasks must be completed in a series so you don't have to move multiple tasks around one by one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling has been made quicker and easier so there's been a great timesaving, also the team all have full visibility of what everyone across the agency are doing and what's upcoming.

the fact that there is a character limit in the comments section. Limited detail added to briefs.
It would be more helpful if there was a hierarchy system so I know which are the most urgent jobs.
