What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have Float synced up with our offices #slack group. Float also has a very clean look, easy to see whats going on and check others schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seems a little resource heavy on my work computer. Sometimes when scrolling from left to right or vise versa, the program likes to hang on me and then shoot me a few months ahead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Schedule coordination among other project mangers, seems to make it much easier. Less time over scheduling sub contractors as its easy to just login float and check the open schedules.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is the easy navigation and display of the information. The whole team knows at a glance what other team members are all the time and that's really useful when you have to collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the font size feels a bit small. Also, it would be cool to have integration with other apps like Slack or Google Docks in order to share some notes.

Overall a Good, Helpful Product
What do you like best about the product?
Float is quick and easy to use. It takes no time at all to create a new project, add resources and allocate the resources time on the project. It's also easy for our team members to login and see their allocation for the coming weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a way to zoom in. The blocks are sometimes difficult to see. I've tried only selecting one person but that doesn't change the size or give me the ability to adjust the zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Float for a resource allocation overview. We don't get into the day to day details. We use it to show a projects length, who is assigned to the project and how many hours a day they should be spending on this project to forecast whether they should be assigned to any new projects coming in.
Love the Calendar View
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy this software is to learn and implement at our organization. The calendar view where we can see what all of our employees are working on at the same time has been very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to delete a user when an employee moves on to another company. Even though we have removed their profile from Float, their names still appear in various drop down menus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Float as our traffic management software.

What do you like best about the product?
Float helps to organize the demands to our team of designers and copywriters. By showing all the resources and tasks in a calendar, all at once, it's easy to understand that we have to prioritize things and decide if we need to hire freelancers or if some tasks can wait.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I strongly dislike about Float. I just wish it was more affordable to small startups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I said, sometimes the account or finances team don't understand how much time it takes to create and produce a material, but Float makes it visible and easy to negotiate and understand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're in trouble to organize team's demands or if you're part of a team flooded with tasks without priority, this is the tool for you.
Great for managing a development team and multiple projects
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to set up jobs and duplicate these across multiple employees. The automated colour coding. The ability to only show certain employees and save that as a favourite because it is controlled in query string.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you add one long line of a job e.g. from Jan - April, you can't add a random day where an employee isn't working on that job or task. We get around this by adding the task week by week then adjusting when we add annual leave etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Float to manage a large team's working days, and organise sprints etc. It is very useful to visualise the resource available, and ensure we're not adding too many tasks for the hours available in the day.
Easy to use, very intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and gives you the option to generate reports in for a certain period of time. It is the best tool for the allocation of resources I have used so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no real dislikes I have encountered for the moment.

Ease of use, its straight forward and quick to add/edit/remove projects, and move jobs form on e person to another, which is great for a fast-moving agency schedule

There were a few minor UI issues, these have been resolved by a recent update.

Float provides a nice, simple to use, top-level view of the company schedule.
Fantastic Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Interactivity, plug and play usability on the site, its a really intuitive platform and best version of this kind of software I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd prefer to organise calendars to see all views together, but navigation is quick.

Really positive tool for tracking hours spent across projects in the dept.
