What do you like best about the product?
Online real-time drag and drop, phone app

Having to always have the hours showing in each booking, would be good to have option to knock this off

Different views enable seeing months in advance as well as day by day
Review of Float
What do you like best about the product?
I like the overall performance you gain from Float. If you know which person is not in-house you can just work around these obstacles. Additionally you get an overall overview who is working on which project for instance. It makes my life so much easier and more productive. It also reminds you if of meeting you have in the following week and which tasks need to be done beforhand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have, to be honest, nothing bad to say about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can work much faster than before. After knowing each meeting or people, who are working at home, it builds a better working environment in the office itself.
Project management made easy
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to visualize the hours spent on projects each day makes planning simple and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to add multiple people to one task if it requires collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helpful to make sure that employees aren't being overworked (working more than 8 hours, for example) and helps us create reports about how much time is spent on each project.
Simple scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
Really straightforward to use. I like using Float because it's an easy way of seeing what I have scheduled for the week and which projects I need to keep an eye on. It's also easy to see what my colleagues are working on and when people are on holiday.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to see which other people are working on the same project. It'd be good if you could click on a project and see which users are booked on the project and when.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float saves us a lot of time, especially compared to the previous system we were using which was very clunky and confusing.
By far the best tool I've found to allocate people to projects

I'ts not quite as snappy running in a browser. I'd like to see an windows app for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're always having to balance our people and their skills across multiple projects. With Float, it's easy to see what projects match peoples' skills and vice versa.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set up some simple free accounts in Float, Teamweek,... I'm sure Float will come out on top (depending on your usecase ;-) )

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to sync with Google Calendar
What do you dislike about the product?
That there's no way to set Float to only display my schedule upon login as opposed to the entire team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for resourcing and avoiding problems with booking. I am able to enter my time off into Float where everyone can see when I am and am not available.

What do you like best about the product?
I like most about Float is the user friendliness. Its simple to use and very clear to see what bookings you have in the upcoming weeks. I use it every day and its the main piece of software I use as a Project Office Coordinator organising around 90 peoples planners can slightly chaotic at times but Float makes it that bit easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything about float is great only one thing I would potentially change is how a 'status' is shown on someones day. Make it slightly for obvious to see rather than a small triangle.

I am solving the problem of having to organise 90 peoples planner with a quick, efficient piece of software.

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling is a priority in our busy studio, float makes this a breeze. The ability to report on the workflow and review any potential issues is critical for the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to be honest. We also use Teamwork alongside this, so a tighter integration would be a benefit, especially with the time taken to sync. In an ideal world it would be realtime, however we understand that working with a 3rd party, features open to float may be limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As before scheduling is critical and the ability to organise staff workload. The flexibility to move task around makes our head of design's job easy compared to previous working methods.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking at scheduling and workload management within a busy studio I would highly recommend float. We have tried other products both installed and Saas, float just worked out of the box and was a breeze for the team to switch over to.
