Float Review!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy float is to use and how there is options to choose between user, project, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling and sorting out project is very easy using float. No problems.

It makes it easy to see what everyone else is working on in order to schedule better. It also helps track time

It is an intuitive and easy to use software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really try to think of a con, but really I haven't encountered one. Maybe adding comments to scheduled tasks would be a nice idea.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sync between team members is optimized because of Float.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If the main reason is to synchronize, then I'd definitely recommend it.
This has been a great tool for us to review project forecasting and see who has availability

This software has helped us see who is working on what and who has availability when a new project comes up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a more comprehensive "summary" page showing general availability of our employees.

We're figuring out how to better estimate the amount of time it will take us to get to a new project so that we can better manage client expectations.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It has a simple interface and is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't receive email notifictions when a change has been made, perhaps this something wrong with the setup of the tool.

General scheduling, I am user using Float and I find it useful to see what tasks I am booked on for the week.
A little complex to get to grips with, but a useful tool once you know how to work it.

It helps you to properly log the time you dedicate to each task.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, you need to create templates for each type of project you will work on, otherwise organising your tasks to properly track your time becomes a bit of a nightmare.

It helps to see where resources need to be allocated.

What do you like best about the product?
The "Reports" feature provides integrated reporting across our product portfolio.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "People" tab must be maintained and updated manually on a monthly basis for new hires/terminations to maintain accuracy.

Resource and capacity management planning across an ever changing product portfolio. Cost reporting on a product level basis.

Give it a try and see if it fills the need for resource and capacity management.

The graphs and charts are easy to sort through and visualize.
What do you dislike about the product?
If float included time tracking on a per project basis it would help speed up my workflow.

I'm able to easily see what projects I am working on, and what projects are coming up in the pipeline.

Having full visibility of my team's workload is a really valuable tool.

Some more solid integration with Google's calendar and other g-suite features would be great!

We're trying to make the work our team is doing more visible to the whole team, and this has been great for that.
