Excellent resource manager
What do you like best about the product?
Float works great in allocating and control resources across different projects and service calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see an hour rate associate per resource
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resources are now confirmed and everybody know the status and when resources are available. Works really great

Excellent tool for resource management, you won't look back.
Log hours with ease
What do you like best about the product?
Allows me to easily log my scheduled hours on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was initially unsure about how to manage scheduling vs logging my hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows my managers to assign me hours and track how many of those hours are actually being logged.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is worth at least the trial to check out the features.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to see how all employees are staffed as well as upcoming availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if scheduled could be "swapped" to other employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great at long-term planning. Easy to see employees dedicated to long-term projects, employees who have gaps and time off.
Easy to use and see the bigger picture of what the team is working on

Being able to see the bigger picture is nice

Nothing really, just took a bit to learn in the beginning.

Solving people being over allocated is nice

More than just scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
Float allows quick capturing of data for easy analysis no matter how long the time has past (year or years). Interesting features such ask trying to type a question mark for a shortcut makes scheduling more seamless and interesting. It also allows visibility for the people who needs it and create a more collaborative space.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that the only downside of using Float is that there's just that few more steps needed before a schedule can be placed. The need to create project before scheduling makes it more time consuming than it needs to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Float to schedule and track productivity has helped in analysing data and planning for the future. It is time saving and gives visibility within (and also outside of) the team.

Need Dark Mode for Desktop please! It's really tiring staring at a white screen...

Simple user interface makes it very easy and convenient to use it daily. Does not require too much time spent to update.

Would be nice to have a better integration with Airtable or other project management tools that company use.

Making sure everyone in the department to keep track of working hours per project and accurately gauge time and budge

What do you like best about the product?
Recieving an email notification with my daily tasks/jobs. This saved me time not needing to use a browser to log into and review.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to scroll through 20+ colleagues to find myself (my scheduled row)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team are able to schedule work directly to me and not need to then inform me or create additional communications regarding this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It seems like a decent program to me.
Does exactly what it is supposed to.

As stated in the title, Float does exactly what it is supposed to. Quick, clear and easy to use.

There's nothing in particular I dislike about this service.

Every task or brief I have to work on is easily communicated in my schedule.
