Easy to use with all the features we were looking for
What do you like best about the product?
We were looking for a product that would help us plan and manage our current and up-coming projects with ease.
There were lots of products on the market, but Float stood out from the rest for being very user friendly, responsive to queries and feedback, and for a good price.
The reporting tool on Float is great and can be used to filter however you want. This has given us a much better overview of our staffing requirements and patterns.

What do you dislike about the product?
One of the features we would like to see is different budget currencies available on the same team. Currently you can have one currency per team, but multiple teams. This for us is not practical as we have people on multiple projects that can be different currencies and this would give inaccurate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have better staffing reporting and long term planning with Float, allowing us to spot gaps in our staffing or workloads and adjust them accordingly where needed.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use: the ability to schedule something and duplicate it over time.
The reports: to track workload, overtime, time spent by project, etc.
It also allows you to have an overview of what your colleagues are working on, if they are available, who's off, etc.
You can set a specific amount of hours for each project, which allows you to easily track profitability.

There's nothing I particularly dislike about it. It's all pretty smooth and easy to use, very intuitive.

It's a great way of saving time because you can join to do list with schedule in one place.

Quick and Easy time management
What do you like best about the product?
The interface and its responsiveness. The previous solution was a bit slow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reload screens and notifications - it would be nice if most of them could be a background task.

Accessing the information through a web browser helped overcome the older system`s licence limit.

Being able to see what I need to do each day of the week in one view alongside what my colleagues are doing.

What do you like best about the product?
Float is great as it's very visual, and you can easily see on a week by week basis what work is in studio and what needs completing. You are able to judge at a glance any pressure points in the week, and check peoples capacity and availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked more space on each entry to add more information on each of the entries.

Project planning and studio capacity. Float lets you very easily make sure that no-one is working over capacity.

I would recommend it. It's one of the best project planning products I've sed.

It is very easy to work with, very comfortable

We using it for resource management and it helps us to see our capacity
Great project management tool for daily use, not so much for small projects.
What do you like best about the product?
The schedule view allows for a quick overview of my teams capacity and the recent functionalities of budget tracking and multiple-member-tasks makes it even easier to keep track of my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of my projects are quite small and only take either a small part of my day or don't take very long. The schedule view (which I use most) is not very ideal for moving around all those 1-2hr tasks. Luckily this is not a problem for the bigger projects. Besides that I think it is not very realistic to plan for an 8hr workday; this is often not the reality (with e.g. breaks etc.). This has the effect that there is a mismatch between the allocated budget and the actual time that has been spent on the project (compared to the time tracking software we use).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float makes sure that our whole team is realtime up to date about everyone's availability and makes sure that we have both a good idea of our project planning in the weeks ahead and are able to inform our clients about our availability very quickly.

Being able to set recurring tasks for those daily/weekly things we have to do repeatedly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the calendar does not always auto-refresh

Just having time-management software that is intuitive to use and not bloated at all.

What do you like best about the product?
I can clearly see my team's work schedule and mine, this make work more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bug with the calendar not refreshing automatically, this has caught me a couple of times because I had to refresh manually in the browser and ended up working on projects I should not have.

Efficient work, fewer distractions and fewer communications.
