Simplicity, user interface, easy of use, modern approach, easy to navigate (UX)
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far honesly! Been using for months and I'm happy!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task scheduling mostly, we've got several different projects per day so it's good to stay oragnized.

Great capacity management tool!

What do you like best about the product?
Love that it has given us clarity on prep vs execution time for projects & team capacity.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot of manual data entry - the spreadsheet template for uploading doesn't quite capture everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We adopted float to centralize team capacity management. The reporting is much more complex than anything else we've used and gives us a sense of how we're doing throughout the year.

Float is a great tool for keeping me on top of my job

What do you like best about the product?
the speed and ease in which you can add new cards- seeing all of the different cards in the lists makes it very easy to see your daily/weekly tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is a lack of customisation in terms of where the cards can be placed on the screen, it would be great to drag and drop the tiles so I can view more in one screen. I wish there was an easier way of discarding tasks too such as pressing backspace when you select a card
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in accounts which means I have a lot of different tasks and clients. Float helps me with both the small tasks that pop up in the day that I can easily post onto a board and keeping all my client work distinct and organised.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
Moving or changing the boxes might be confusing sometimes when there are a lot of different Tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Matching Capacities in teams with a lot of People

Good tool to track time.

  • February 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to track time spent and my planned schedule for the current (and following) week.
What do you dislike about the product?
When logging time, it could be easier to spot wrong weeks, specially for recurring tasks. If I'm logging time on a task for the future, it should prompt me to confirm whether I'm not making a mistake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float in the organization has a purpose to track time and resource allocation. So far, I'm only a user of time tracking and so far, so good.

Organising my transition to work from home.

  • February 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to sync my calendar with my apple devices. One quick look on my watch or phone and I know what I have coming in on a specific day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love an option to remain logged in on a specific device or keyboard. It's annoying to have to log in every time I use float. Also a traditional calendar view would be a nice option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the issue of being forced to work from home. Home computers tend to have multi-use i.e. not just for work. Being able to log on to a app dedicated to just my professional work is a god send.

What do you dislike about the product?
When working on long projects, I haven't figured out a way to assign long tasks. I ended up doing it week by week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resourcing at the agency became easier and more transparent

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly time- & projectmanagement
