Float for project and team management
What do you like best about the product?
I like it; it lets me have good visibility about project resources, and I can also check company resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was not getting used to updating and filling it in at the beginning. But then I realized all the pros that it gives me.

It gives me the good visibility, I can book people, I can plan project.

Just start using it
Great software to organize teams and assign tasks, I use it everyday and find it so valuable.
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use user interface and adaptability
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't allow 'Medical leave' and other types of leave to be placed into schedules.

Solved team organisation and assigning of tasks.

The ability to click and drag tasks, and being able to view them in a block like diagram.

How anyone can alter anyones tasks, there isn't a manager mode

What do you like best about the product?
Float helps me plan my day in the most efficient way, and not overschedule myself. It gives me a guideline for how much work I can take on without taking on too much.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be buggy, and the calendar integration doesn't always work. it's not super intuitive but once you get the hang of it, it's worth it. The support team are really helpful too if there are any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making it easy to spread workload across the whole team and make sure we can fit all our jobs in without over or under scheduling people. It saves wasting time and makes us more efficient.

Float is excellent, I'd highly recommend it

What I love about Float is how easy it is to use the user interface, it's intuitive and it gives an amazing overview of your planning. The daily updates on mail make sure that you never miss a thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's probably a small little thing but having to log in every time you visit float is a little frustrating, I would prefer if you're logged in right away. Nothing too big though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float is solving a quick simple but complex problem at the same time. It's keeping a great overview of our personal planning within the company and not a day goes by where you don't know what to do.

What do you like best about the product?
Float has solved issues regarding time allocation and prioritization for me, which is what I really expect from this software. Its vastly better than others because of its ease of use and and flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way users have to manually log work hours can be polished a bit more, maybe with a prompt to do so, or with some sort of automation. Other than this, there is nothing else to improve on at this point.

Float helps me see my teams schedule and lets me plan the day accordingly, which is a great boon for project managers like me. It also allows specific work hours to be set which gives a lot of clarity regarding the schedule.

Not the easiest way to log hours. It takes a few more clicks than the previous application i used.

Easy to use scheduling service
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about float is that you can easily edit multiple people's schedules in the same view and that it is very easy to add a new project or extend time on an existing one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess the only thing I don't like about float is that it is only a scheduling software and you are not able to input actual numbers and compare them to scheduled ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that it is easy for me to see what I'm doing and what projects I'll be working on the following weeks. I work at a pretty small consulting firm and it is still quite hard keeping up with what everyone else is working on. Float makes it easy for me to see what others are working on and how much time they are working on a specific project.
Float- A time management Genie
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling, logging and updating features are the ones I use daily and they help me massively with my time management, even more so because I'm working from home. The reports are my favourite feature so far along with updates as my work changes a lot more than what was scheduled.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, most of it has been cleared in the recent update as the issue was with updating tasks, and the different formats for tasks and projects in scheduling and logging which sometimes is confusing when doing both at the same time. Of course, the occasional crashes are a bit annoying sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a work-from-home employee it's comparatively harder for me to do time management between household chores and office work which more often than not go side by side, float is a life saver for that. As someone with OCD, the clean and smooth sailing interface really calms me down.

Take a look around for all the features first before starting the use so that you don't miss out on some really useful ones.
