Frictionless
What do you like best about the product?
The time-logging process couldn't be smoother. And the big-picture visibility of time logged for the week (any week) is great! It's way easier to fix time-logging mistakes on the fly. That was very tedious with the system my company used before: Accelo. I'm glad we switched. To be clear, I was not an administrator of our Float system, I was just a user—an employee who used it for logging time. My company has many clients, so Float allowed us to keep track of how many hours we worked for different clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took me a few moments to get the hang of the user interface. The UI is not that complicated, but it's different from what I was used to. Once it clicked for me I had no issues. Now I prefer the Float UI style. I think it's more elegant. Less obvious from the software designer's point of view, but ultimately more straightforward for the end-user.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float solves the problem of logging time to various projects at a company, to track billable hours, and how much work has gone towards one project or another. It has benefited my company by making the process seamless and smooth. One less thing to worry about.

Easy to schedule hours in different working projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that for employees that usually log times instead of scheduling times, we could get "Log Float" as the default screen instead "Schedule Float".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Agility in work hours appointments. It saves me time doing that task.

Always remember to switch from Schedule to Log Time before using the app.

Really easy to log time, see allocations & make notes

Being able to fast-track time logging with pre-populated timesheets.

It would be nice if there was a button to replicate the previous week's logged hours.

Float saves me a lot of time - it's a fast and convenient way to log my hours.
Scheduling tool for teams
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Float is the overview of the projects and of the work the team is currently executing, it allows you to keep control and follow each one of your tasks. It gives you the freedom to manage your time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that each task has to belong to a project because it limits the possibility of tracking day-to-day tasks like answering emails, doing check-ups on the team or talking with other team members. It empowers the productivity culture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The design was changed from the very first time I started using it so it was great seeing the UI change and the way it made friendlier the navigation throughout the site.

Quick and fast set up and time visibility

Negative total float, seems weird. Wondering, how could Float simplify the overlapping works without showing (-)?
