Useful tool for project management and time tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Float is very easy to use, incredibly well organised and allows for really effective management of time across creative, editorial and client services teams. Many people can use it at the same time, and it updates real-time which is fantastic for managing tons of updates all happening throughout the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be a few more colours or ways to differentiate my projects from someone elses. It sometimes gets difficult to find which projects are mine, and which are others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to manage time across all teams, meaning work doesn't get lost and everyone can have a successful day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a really useful tool, but only for when your organisation has grown to the point where you cannot manage time only using yourselves. It is helpful when there are lots of different projects all with different timelines.

Easy to make a project plan, and allow PM to see and easy to collaborate on projects across departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new design is a bit confusing, the colouring sometimes confused the action area/items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To allow PM to see how the resources is booked, and also to see the overall project hours is used.

What do you like best about the product?
As the title says, the best thing about Float is how easy it is to use.
We're a medium-sized design agency and we looked for ages for a solution to project management that didn't bog us down in admin and could be easily accessed.

What do you dislike about the product?
It could be better at scheduling holidays, we use Timetastic for this and it would be great if the two could be integrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy scheduling of projects so the whole team has a clear overview of what they are personally working on and what is in the studio.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to note in terms of the negatives of using float

Having float as a reliable reference point for resource is very useful
Float - the easy to use scheduling tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to use the features on float and the UI is pretty and appealing. It also lets you custom your task so it can be better explained in your words. It's also extremely fast and the reminders to your email helps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Float sometimes is confusing with the huge blocks it uses to block times for the week. The blocks could be made smaller with more data to add to it

Float helps massively with scheduling and especially for your manager to schedule projects for you
I very much enjoy using float.

Having a shared centralized schedule that multiple people can edit.

The notifications when the schedule is updated are a bit annoying to reach and feel unnecessary at times.

I don't make my own schedule and so float makes it easy to keep track of what I'm doing every day.

Float has a beautiful UI and provides a modern user experience for scheduling and controlling.

Some features are still buggy, especially the reports can sometimes behave in a way that is unpredictable.

Float helps us better manage our available resources, visualizes available budgets, and allows us to keep track of the progress in our projects.

it makes scheduling time for tasks easy and creates an easy view calendar.

sometimes tasks can't be completed on time and there is no option to add comments to explain situations to stakeholders.

float is helping solve time keeping and schedluing problems and is helping to give a clear visual of tasks and how much time each task allows.

if you are struggling to manage time and tasks then this is a life saver

you can see the whole week and log hours easily, easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes unintentionally it logs twice, so I need to delete the duplicate

it is easy to log because there is a prefilled 8 hours already depending on the task
