It's been useful
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is pretty predictable, it usually works just like I think it does. This is very useful because while I'm working hard it's not great to spend a lot of time registering what I was doing, so the process of producing timesheets should be fast and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing is too bad but I have some ideas for improvements:
- While I'm creating a task, I might not be part of the project of the said task yet, so it would be nice to show me Projects I'm not a part of and a way to solicit entering the projects so I can create the task and then later my manager just have to approve it.
- Notes is a one-line text input, it should probably be a multi-line text area.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It doesn't help me directly but my manager needs to report what I'm working on to the clients they bill hourly, so it's a way to report to the client what I'm doing as a contractor and bill them accordingly.

Great software for scheduling and logging people's time on a project
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use software for managing resources on a project: scheduling time, team members logging their time themselves, seeing at a glance who is available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited reporting and budget management capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing engineers' resources by easily planning resources for a future project and quickly seeing who is working on what.
Good for work
What do you like best about the product?
Bright colourful, can see what my teammates are working on. Good for long-term project management and syncing my calendar across all my accounts (email, Teams etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sync doesn't work and it can be a bit slow and laggy, especially on Teams calls. The integration is really useful and helpful with Outlook and Teams but when it doesn't work it can be quite frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me to see what jobs I'm on - scheduling and calendar organisation mainly, plus the added bonus of having somewhere that has a record of what I've been working on which makes it easy for me to do my timesheets at the end of the week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Useful and helpful for scheduling purposes, particularly for operations.
Slick design, simple to navigate, and easy on the eyes !

I find float very user-friendly, took me no time to get going on it. I can manage my time effectively by knowing what is coming up next for myself and the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any 'dislikes' at this time when it comes to Float. I would like to see additional features in the future but would like them to keep their aesthetic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling all of our projects while creating transparency for all members of the consulting team regardless of level or tenture. I was able to quickly trust the process because of Float.

Very easy to maneuver around, and a nice and simple design

It might get a little confusing, all the tabs

It's easy to use, if you want to do something you can just drag and drop everything.

A Jira integration would be amazing. Some way to have the data be more accessible when planning in other tools

Project tracking to quantify meeting targets
More user friendly than the others

eay to use, intuitive, and generally user-focussed, I'm really happy with the time and task tracking aspects

bit of a pain to have to scroll down to my name - would imagine it would suck in a larger organisation - maybe there should be a way to keep your tasks at the top?

task management - much easier to prioritise and attend to different responsibilities
Float is a great way to put multiple project schedules and deadlines into an easy to read dashboard.

The ability to plan your week with rough time slots allotted to individual projects is very helpful to keep yourself on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still learning, but the ability to color-code projects would be nice.
