Easy to use BI magic
What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to make nice dashboards super quickly. As a Data Scientist I use QlikSense to explain my models and findings to my clients. The responsive and interactive reports helped me to sell a lot of my ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
In big reports the end-user has a lot of options to analyze the data, which is good. However, sometimes I don't want that the user combines certain options when analyzing the data and sometimes the end-user is overwhelmed by the provided options. So, it would be nice to have features to create "guided" ways to use the reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to present my findings and helping my clients to really get to the root of the problem. QlikSense makes it easy to combine complex DataScience with well-established KPIs.

If you are looking for an modern BI solution that is easy to use and can handle big data, choose QlikSense.

Easy and powerful Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik has a simple data modeling. It is very easy but with potential to make everything. Also complex datamodels.
The Query code is very powerful a little bit like SQL but in some cases much more easier

The Extracting of REST APIs is a bit complicated. Especially when it comes to Data Paging or other requests than GET or POST
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is great for bringing different sources together. Conector to multiple different sources are available. No matter if Postgres, Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB, XLS, Web, etc. etc.
All sources can be brought together in one data model. They will connect and you can make analytics over all your data. No matter where it comes from.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Plan your deployment, Plan how your data will grow. Plan enough resources. Qlik is hungry fr RAM. Because this is what it makes so fast and flexible.
Enable users. Self Service is very easy. But you can also do things wrong, so make sure your people know what they are doing.
Thinking about Self-Service do not let Data Governance get out of sight. The more Self Service, the more important.
Force data literacy. Even if your employees are just consumers. They have to know how to read the data / the analysis.

Associative technology and speed in the development and construction of panels.

Customizing themes is a little difficult.

Crossing of different bases. It makes development much faster.

Qlik Sense is an excellent platform. It has a technology that facilitates the development and grouping of different bases in addition to allowing you to analyze the data completely and quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
Qlik Sense lets you easily bring in data from a variety of different sources. The in-memory technology allows you to quickly find insights from your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many that I can think of, potentially more visualizations out of the box. Saying that, new visualizations are being added frequently and you always have the options of using extensions, many of which are certified by Qlik.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers are using Qlik to pull in and link data sets without the use of any coding. These datasets can be permissioned based on the user's role. They are able to supply dashboards to users and users have the ability to create their own visualizations in a governed manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would recommend this to company of scales due to its scalability. Qlik have been staple of the Gartner BI magic quadrant for many year. It is a tried and tested product that is utilised in many industries.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most that is more sensible in terms of data management. I also love that I can filter in one page, and that selection remains in the rest of the pages, so I can explore data better.
Another thing I like is its ETL, is very similar to SQL, so it's easier to build your models, and the code it's very self-explanatory.
Also the possibility to create master dimensions, master metrics, and master visualizations, makes it easier to develop dashboards.

At first the menu is less intuitive than Tableau and Power BI, but once you understand what metric and dimension are, it's very easy to handle visualizations.

I build dashboards automations for HR areas. I also guide my clients and teams in what to measure, and to create new metrics and visualizations that show the value of HR

If you need to automate dashboards, the Qlik suite is the best because its data handling is the most robust of all.

Qlik is a panoptic, flexible intelligence platform, no ordinary business intelligence here.
What do you like best about the product?
Difficult to choose just one thing, but I suppose I'm old-school so it would be total ETL control over data, which is stock with Qlik. It can connect to every kind of data imaginable. Its ETL is as powerful and flexible as SQL (and is very SQL-like in syntax, lowering the learning curve) plus its has powerful load script library of functions that can accomplish in two or three parameters what would take a stored procedure in SQL. Case in point, FirstSortedValue and AutoNumber, both small but mighty.
What do you dislike about the product?
Partner support can be disappointing, which is not actually Qlik, but the only thing I dislike about using Qlik Sense. If your company buys through a partner, some are better than others, be thorough in your selection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We (in IT) are able to free our data, from spreadsheet hell, to be found and used by our business users, who have eons of combined experience and are able to learn and use Qlik Sense to develop new content - to actually improve sales or reduce returns. "Democratized analytics" might be what that's called, and it brings me joy to see business users applying their expertise using Qlik Sense as a platform.

Give serious consideration to the cloud options where Qlik hosts your data and maintains the platform.
A top tier Qlik support contract is very important, even more so if you host in-house. Don't confuse that support with the "Qlik Community" which is unrivaled in the industry and an excellent resource for new and experienced users.

Great product, powerfull and beatifull
What do you like best about the product?
The excellent management of complex data models allows to produce multi-fact analysis with millions of records and to have the maximum flexibility and freedom of analysis thanks to the associative engine. In addition, it brings with it extreme simplicity in managing user views and self-service BI. Governance is truly at a higher level thanks to both the Qlik Maagement Console which is easy to understand and manage and the applications made available by Qlik and customizable by accessing the PostgreSQL repository. The level of security that allows you to manage the permissions of each individual object is very high.
What do you dislike about the product?
To improve the customization of some graphic objects to make the presentation more attractive to end users. The management of variables should be noted, which must be simplified and made easier without resorting to external tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of the entire customer life cycle and monitoring of customer operations activities.

A powerful end-to-end software that allows both to manage complex ETLs thanks to a fast and stable engine, excellent for analysts of all levels and for end users who can also have the freedom to create their own analyzes independently. An enterprise-level product, market leader for many years now and which fully demonstrates its maturity as well as the vision of continuous improvement and adaptation with modern times. I also recommend it if you have growth goals for your data analyst team.

QlikSense is intuitive and easy to use and understand. This is crucial when dealing with clients that are not very familiar with dashboards or data.

I would like more access to various themes on hand, instead of having to manually create them

We used QlikSense as an alternative to other BI platforms and found that the client was much more at ease when using this platform
