Best solution for descriptive analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Data Modelling and Associations. I like customisation and flexibility, and simplicity is also appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
More appearance customisation, in some migration cases from BO to Qlik or Tableau to Qlik, i had difficulties when replacing data visualisations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of the time, i do data modelling. Linking all kind of data in your data model, enriches data exploration so business user experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is nothing new to add, the product is one of the leader in business intelligence for so many years. I suggest you to request a PoC from a local vendor and see how Qlik meets your organisational needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Super Easy switching between dashboards, very fast infrastracture, loading scripts and adding data is very simple and accessible even for begginers.

Sometimes, it is tricky to work between tabs while doing many tasks at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analysing user's behaviour in specific video games.
Checking progressions on various levels while correlating results with other aspects of their behaviour in the game.
The main benefit is that Qlik makes it extremely easy to analyse and present at the same time which makes it ideal for presentations to project managers to deliver insights and make actionable points for changes in the projects.

On an age where data analytics platform are in abundance, I would highly recommend qlik for its ease of use and accessibility.

different licences for different features - qs, nprinting, alerting etc.

What do you like best about the product?
The speed of Qlik Sense Engine when changing selections / filters. No waiting for recalculation, everything is recalculated immediately. The visualizations are visually appealing. Custom development and extending is fully supported by documented APIs and extension support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing version control of load scripts and application layouts. It makes hard to manage application lifecycle when multiple developers collaborate. Also DEV-TEST-PROD deployment process is not natively supported in Qlik Sense and we need to look for workarounds.

What do you dislike about the product?
Web Connectors need to upgraded to Qlik Sense connections. Too much waisted time on the ones that all competitors have in their products. This is about the only area where Tableau has something better than Qlik Sense.

The best BI tool for Analytics and Data Visualization
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik Sense is a tool that allows you to easily manage your data, edit and create links between tables. It also has a wide range of charts and objects to visualize data in a user-friendly interface. I use Qlik Sense on a daily basis and it responds to all of my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, I don't have any complaints about Qlik. It literally can do anything you want to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have already worked with Qlik Sense in a Big 4 and also in a big insurance company. I have already used it to solve problems in HR (People Analytics), in Finance (To manage and display cash flow and financial statement analysis) and Insurance management (Analysis of claims, costs and profits).

What do you like best about the product?
The integration from data prep through dashboards, including catalog and some data governance capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The direction towards cloud. For me, while I'm not opposed to cloud solutions, they are not the best option for all cases. Too many applications are going to this model and forgetting that not everything has to be cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not currently using Qlik Sense as we are still using the legacy Qlikview in house (see the above cloud comment) but we've been using it to handle retail data to create more consistent dashboards across our many customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Qlik Sense is a very strong end to end solution, but like any product in the analytics world it is not THE solution for everything. Very nice tool to have in the belt nonetheless.
Qlik is a strong platform, have tools from analysis and the functioality is very helpfull

Possibly it should be more accessible for SMEs since they cannot access a solution with those prices

The associative computation engine that permits descriptive and predictive calculations accurately and quickly.

The need for a server-side extension to make use of predictive analysis

Mostly predictive analysis. The benfits are the combination of the Qlik engine that works in conjunction with predictive algorithms to quickly compute data.
