Unlocking the power of CrateDB
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to adjust to the requirements of new solutions driven by generative and native AI and machine learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it is a very robust tool that would be misused on small projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CrateDB is a tool that solves the coexistence of different types of data, this helps the current process of understanding old data and other formats that companies currently require to organize the company in function of artificial intelligence, and for automation processes that are not yet predictive because they do not have a tool that relates the data with decision making. I believe that CrateDB plays an important role in today's data revolution.

it would provide an excellent system for our telemetry logging requirements .
What do you like best about the product?
simplke to setup & SQL querying which many are familiar with
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing yet. possibly only able to access the cloud version via a web gui
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
looking to implement a realtime telemetry monitoring systems for mobile workers
Excellent product for scalable data warehousing that also supports OSS
What do you like best about the product?
Scalable with ease whilst also offering options for edge computing. Integrating the system into an exsiting hyperscaler is easy, especially now that is is available as a one-click deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
More regions for deploying through the CrateDB cloud would be excellent, I'd also to see further extension of the in-built commands for working with the data inside of the database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been looking for a solution that caters to real-time use cases, primarily looking at time series data in large volumes. It's a useful to have multiple models contained within the same product, offering flexibility in consumption patterns for diverse user groups.
This fits the bill, and looking forward to developing this further as an offering with for clients.

CyberSecurity Analysis with CrateDB
What do you like best about the product?
We liked very much about native postgresql support. We can store logs directly into CrateDB without another wrapper layer.
What do you dislike about the product?
CrateDB support channel/forum should be improved. Even though it's good product, people start seeing how the community is active. As of now it's closed box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can stream cycber security logs directly store into the database.
Efficient and easy to integrate
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of integration with existing systems allowes for a smooth transition and minimal disruption to workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation could be improved in some areas, like the integration with other drives/dialects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CrateDB efficiently handles large-scale, complex datasets, making it suitable for a vector database for a RAG system.
Very versatile tool suited for hybrid setup
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, versatility. A solid data warehousing alternative to most popular solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find a fault. Maybe it being less known.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data warehousing alternative
Easy to integrate in complex system
What do you like best about the product?
Performance, UI for monitoring, easiness of integration in existing systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to be mentioned here, it works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Robust DB for client solutions.
Powerful and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it integrates different type of data with a SQL-like syntax.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think all that power requires a lot of resources, which can result in higher costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CrateDB solves the challenge of analyzing large volumes of time-series and IoT data in real-time using SQL, which makes it easy to integrate with existing systems.
a DBaaS with interesting functionalities for developers
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the keyword search with fuzzy functionalities. I liked the interpolation in time series analysis. I liked the idea the information can be compared by mathematical vectors. I liked the traditional SQL interface. I appreciated how it is easy to do these tasks in the programmer point of view. I liked the idea of integration that this product seems to provide.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understood the product was built in particular for real time data processing and for data analysis (time series) . I did not understood if it can be used for others operations the companies usually are facing. For instance reporting production that have to satisfy particular templates or to be published in a distributed environment (es. Qlik, SAS,..). Data quality activities that implies data comparing and data correction.
I did not understood if the tool supports effectively the security/authorization issues that normally a big company has, for instance some office can see some data, other can not.
I fear the latencies due to newtwork infrastructure. How to handle with table with 60 million records?
