Good by very buggy
What do you like best about the product?
The streamlined way of being able to send contracts, sign them, and keep track of who/when it was opened it very time saving.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature is really awful. If you have any space in the beginning or end, it won't pull up any results and if you don't realize their is a space (maybe after copy and pasting) you are left scratching your head. Often times, the search feature just doesn't work at all. I put in an email i know is right, it pulls up nothing, and I have to try 3 more times in a row for it to work. There is a bad connection between email and cellphones. If you click a link on your phone to get to a specific document, your phone will only take you to the signnow homepage. Also, the app is not good. It's not user friendly and search is even worse on the app. I've used signnow for years now, so I'm not "inexperienced" These are flaws. Once I emailed in about a search issue and was told "to check if there was a space." ....If you KNOW thats an issue why isn't it just fixed??? I emaled once about an issue with getting a template t owork, wasn't fixed, still can't use it to this day. Cant be bothering trying to work with the customer service department and. their canned reponses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It streamlines our contract signing. Saves us time and lets us send our templates so we don't have to redo them over and over again.
It's cheap and has most features if not more on some levels than DocuSign or Adobe Signature.
What do you like best about the product?
Unlimited documents for signatures. There's no monthly max and it helps our business b/c of our seasonality based on events.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to download all the documents and then compile them together in one handout vs just attaching 5 documents in one go before sending. You have to upload all 5, then manually combine each one together with another to become one envelop for sending. It's more of a hassle on my end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our seasonality needs. And it's not that expensive for us to have multiple user accounts for each dept of the company instead of sharing one account.
Some functions still can be improved
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to drag files to build documents and send to signature to someone by email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some layout and chinese characters will mass up after downloading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Signature online and paperless and protect our worldd
Works but lacks functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Inexpensive so practical in terms of cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks some basic functionality that other platforms have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to get contracts signed remotely by authorized signers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This platform contains the basic functionality and is easy to use, but lacks some other basic features that I would like to be able to use, even for an additional fee.
Very user friendly! An easy way to get contracts signed.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is that each document is very customizable. You can require certain fields so that recipients can't finish signing a document if they've skipped important fields. We use the template features weekly for major contracts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a document is uploaded, you can't edit it directly anymore. You have to edit the original and reupload it into SignNow. It can be time-consuming. But once you get the text of the document completed, then it's smooth sailing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to sign all our contracts. It really saves a lot of time, as our clients don't even have to create a login to sign the document. They just click through the guided fields and submit, and it's done!
Difficulty in completing documents
What do you like best about the product?
We can send documents to people out of town or on the road.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not user friendly. Customer have a hard time finishing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting authorization forms signed when customers are not on site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Making it more user friendly to guide our customers where they are missing information.
it is convenient to use and cost competitive
What do you like best about the product?
general ease of use (there is room for improvement) and technical support response
What do you dislike about the product?
some features are not customizable enough; the web app is not always convenient to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- instant archiving and signing of documents. Address remote work environment challenges. faster document processing time.
Easy to use, just wish there was a way to edit
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and makes sense. Keeps everything organized fairly easily for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
If i want to make a simple edit to a document. I have to open it in word or google docs. Make an edit and then redo everything on signnow. I wish there was a way to create the document in signnow so that it was easier to edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this alot for customers to have contracts with us. Easy to send to them and sign and then have stored in one spot.
everything works great. I would appreciate less confirmation emails.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use from the computer on my side. I also think that the platform on a mobile device is very easy to use. I do think that a larger text could be provided for elderly clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
amount of emails to confirm whether it has been signed. If I am the signer, I shouldn't be notified twice that I have already signed. It clogs up my inbox. See above for what is not neccessarily a dislike, just more of an idea. I have had some elderly clients in the past, attempt to sign an insurance document from their mobile device, and having a difficult time with it. I also think that many people are used to the platform of Adobe Esign. Some of our companies, locally use it. Their design could be easily replicated or used to make some improvements and upgrades.
The only other thing is grouping of documents. It seems there was a recent upgrade from that feature, and it only created more confusion. Naming the document group should be the last question is asks. The most important thing in our industry is grouping the documents in the format that is the most readable for our clients.

At the time, I haven't experienced any personal issues. Ease of use and timely turn around is a big part of our industry. Those would be the areas of concentration I would recommend.
They have caught their stride over the past year
What do you like best about the product?
I haven't evaluated e-sign applications in several years since we signed up with signNow, but I'd wager they are leading the pack in terms of the features that they offer. My staff doesn't need most of them, but there are some pretty cool things you can do, and I think most people would find helpful. One example of this is "magic" fields (they may also call them "smart" fields). These fields are essentially dynamic placeholders in your document, which can be filled automatically based on the signing link; you append parameter values to the URL to do this. Even relatively small businesses will likely find this useful. Our company used the feature to fill out 90% of a form that we had to send to customers; we dynamically added the customer info to the URL when we send the signing link and boom, it made the process a lot easier for our customers.
One other note is that they have been steadily releasing new features for more than a year now. It took them a while to get up to speed, at least from when we first signed up, but they have it down now.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that annoys me is that we cannot change the email our documents are sent from. Well, at least not easily. I did it once and had to request for them to change it for me. You can customize the emails themselves as well as the signing instructions, but not the sending email.
Another small thing is that every document we send retains the same title; that is the name of the document template. I long ago found myself wishing that we could dynamically rename documents after signing, such as appending the signers name. We only send a handful of documents but it can be overwhelming when you try to find a specific one among hundreds with the same title.

They make it easy to send the same documents repeatedly. This allows us to invite a customer to sign a document without much effort.
