What do you like best about the product?
The reliability and stability it brings to our clients’ networks is unmatched. We rarely face downtime or disruptions, and the firewall quietly handles security in the background while allowing businesses to focus on growth. For us, the balance between strong security and smooth day-to-day performance is what makes it stand out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge is that with so many advanced options, new administrators may take time to explore everything it offers. But once familiar, the range of controls becomes a real advantage rather than a limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has reduced security incidents, improved compliance with customer requirements, and given us stronger control over distributed networks. This has saved both time and operational costs while giving end users greater confidence in their IT environment.

Sophos Firewall offers an intuitive interface, strong performance with Xstream architecture, and easy implementation. Synchronized Security, SD-WAN, and threat visibility make it a powerful, reliable choice for distributed networks. Customer support is responsive and knowledgeable, and the firewall integrates easily with other Sophos and third-party solutions, streamlining overall network security management.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Sophos Firewall is powerful, the web interface can be slightly slow when managing large rule sets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos Firewall helps us solve key network security challenges, including advanced threat protection, secure remote access, and managing distributed environments. Its Synchronized Security feature enables real-time response to endpoint threats, reducing manual workload and response time. With built-in SD-WAN, we’ve improved application performance across sites. Centralized management and reporting simplify compliance and policy enforcement, ultimately increasing operational efficiency and reducing security risks.

What do you like best about the product?
My experience with Sophos Firewall has been largely positive. The ease of use is commendable, with an intuitive interface that simplifies monitoring and management. Implementation is straightforward, especially with pre-configured templates and wizards, which help speed up deployment.
Customer support has been responsive and helpful, addressing queries promptly and providing guidance for both routine and complex issues. The firewall is used frequently in our environment, and its robust feature set — including intrusion prevention, web filtering, VPN, and advanced reporting — meets most of our network security needs.
Integration with existing systems is relatively smooth, with support for centralized management via Sophos Central, making administration across multiple devices easier. Overall, it offers a good balance between functionality, usability, and support, making it a reliable choice for network security.

What do you dislike about the product?
I suggest showing the Storage Master Key under the Backup and Restore tab like the encryption password, as it’s required for restoring backups. Many users create an encryption password but are unaware of the Master Key in the console, so displaying it would reduce confusion.

Sophos Firewall protects our network from malware, ransomware, and unauthorized access while providing secure VPN and remote connectivity. Its centralized management simplifies monitoring and administration, making our network more secure and efficient.

What I like best about Sophos Firewall is its seamless blend of robust security features and user-friendly management. The intuitive interface, combined with powerful threat protection, makes it easy to configure, monitor, and maintain network security without compromising performance
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there’s very little to dislike — but if I had to mention something, it would be that the wide range of features can feel overwhelming at first. However, this is easily resolved with a short learning curve, and the comprehensive documentation and support make it a worthwhile investment.

Sophos Firewall is helping us tackle multiple challenges, from blocking advanced threats to managing bandwidth efficiently across the network. Its real-time visibility and reporting allow us to quickly detect and respond to potential risks, while features like synchronized security ensure our endpoints and firewall work together for maximum protection.
Greater Visibility to my Web Browsing
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of locating the different configurations and the ease of setting up the networks, as well as the speed with which they can be configured, since on other devices it takes a long time to save a configuration, as I use it daily to monitor web browsing and the behavior of my internet links.
What do you dislike about the product?
What needs to be restarted when the firmware is updated.

Greater visibility to web browsing reports and greater visibility of network logos and the behavior of my users.

It works and is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updates must be watched for and the changelogs must be read. Since this offers a complete set of functions, quite a few things always change.

As a company, providing a comprehensive solution is sometimes not so easy, but Sophos offers a complete package in this area that goes beyond the firewall and can be easily integrated with other components.
