What do you like best about the product?
during covid was able to continue working from home, has been a life saver
What do you dislike about the product?
the alerting and reporting is average and could be improved upon providing real time alerts for whatever chosen activity / user requires it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helping keeping pupils safe in education through web filtering application control

the alerting could be made better for educational settings. Safegurading is a major risk now and having to bolt on 3rd party products to meet these needs

solving keeping kids safe in education mandates and allowing administrative staff to work remotely

What do you like best about the product?
It is a product in constant evolution to continue offering the best security features, always accompanied by good service.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the moment, we have all the company locations covered with Sophos, so for now we don't see any disadvantages. If in the future we see that the product falls behind technologically and in terms of features compared to another, I will comment on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If we encounter any problem with the functioning of any Sophos product, they quickly assist us to resolve it.
Software is good, hardware is a problem

Central management, easy to use and great sales experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support has been poblematic, with long RMA lead times, lots of hardware failures. The devices are hard to scale.

Provides compliance and baseline security protection.

Its a user friendly system, easy to use, with robust security features , with an impressive performance and network security features
What do you dislike about the product?
While basic configurations is straight forward, improved documentation or guided tutorials would benefit us.

SophosFirewall maintains a list of known issues for our products, including Sophos XG Firewall. By acknowledging and addressing these issues, Sophos is helping our businesses maintain a stable and secure network environment.

Easier reports to produce to see all the activities.

It's helping help connect to Azure to make our Jira work

Firmware update takes longer time than normal
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos firewall reduces breaches, adapts defenses in response to an attack, and improves detection and response.
Powerful and simple next-generation firewalls
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of firewall management. Practically everything can be done from the graphical console. Integration with Sophos Central. The security heartbeat integrates with the endpoint. They are implemented easily and the SD-WAN tunnels can be set up from the central console. Support in Spanish 8x5.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vdoms are missing.
The NAT or NoNAT policies are on different pages, I miss having them grouped together.

I don't find any issues in the latest versions of Sophos FW. Keep implementing improvements and releasing increasingly powerful and intuitive versions.

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos Firewall impresses with its seamless deployment and user-friendly interface. Setting up the firewall is a breeze, thanks to its intuitive menus and straightforward management tools. Monitoring and managing network activity is a delight, supported by very good reporting capabilities that offer valuable insights at a glance. What stands out the most is how effortlessly Sophos Firewall streamlines security tasks, allowing users to focus on protecting their networks without getting bogged down in complex configurations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sophos Firewall solutions may come with a higher price tag compared to some alternatives, especially for organizations with budget constraints.
