Good hardware, intuitive user experience and exceptional performance
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and easy configuration and exceptional performance. The support is superb
What do you dislike about the product?
The notification system should be redefined if it has been integrated into Sophos central, as it is not entirely clear how to configure the events so that they are not intrusive.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. IPsec Tunneling (Failover)
2. Heartbeat-—NO HEARTBEAT Detection: Our endpoint has Sophos Endpoint, but it detected no heartbeat, so the solution to resolve it is to restart the firewall.
3. Central Management user account due to no function to integrate the LDAP Domain on Central Management policy the user account can only local user created and synchronize across the firewalls

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud synchronization, from our previous firewall: once we made some changes on the firewall we need to update it to all firewall but we do that in manual. in sophos it help us to imaplement in one to three clicks and then sync to all firewalls.

What do you like best about the product?
All the features it can offer, security, scalability, cloud management, mdm, price, everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
After having tried other solutions such as Fortinet, Sonicwall or Watchguard, the best one we have tried so far is Sophos and its universe of solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Sophos firewall is used to protect business networks through deep packet inspection and threat prevention. It controls internet access with web and application filtering. Enables the creation of secure VPNs for remote or inter-site access. Manages bandwidth and segments the network by users or areas. Integrates with other Sophos products for synchronised defence.

What do you like best about the product?
The products were fairly simple to deploy. The Sophos team assisted with deployment and ensured it worked as expected before handing us off to our threat response team.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I disliked was how Sophos completely revamped their central dashboard. I'm able to navigate fine now, but midway through our contract, the whole look changed and categories were moved around. I also think the central dashboard can load a bit quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos is constantly monitoring our devices and network for anomalies or threats and taking action. They partner with our security team to resolve suspicious activities or compromises in our user's data. This gives us piece of mind and a barrier from malicious actors.
Sophos Firewalls are well regarded in the cybersecurity especilaly for small to medium enterprise.

High cost for the full features and renewal charges.

user-friendly interface combined with powerful security features, such as synchronized security with endpoint devices, advanced threat protection, and real-time traffic visibility.

firmware updates can occasionally cause unexpected issues or require manual intervention.

Threat Protection – It blocks malware, ransomware, and intrusions in real-time with features like IPS, ATP.
Uncontrolled Internet Usage – It enforces web filtering and application control to prevent access to harmful or unproductive sites.
Remote Access Security – It secures connections for remote workers using reliable VPNs.
Network Visibility – It provides deep insights into traffic, user activity, and threats through an intuitive dashboard.

Sophos Firewalls: Ease of Use
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use and implementation. It has a very intuitive interface with lots of great capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that an SPF model is sold separately. It is a little frustrating that there are inconsistencies between the UI and CLI interfaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sophos Firewall is easy to use and seamlessly integrates with other Sophos solutions. Its screen is intuitive, which makes it easy to configure and manage policies. I am also deeply impressed by its ability to deliver advanced threat protection such as malware and ransomware.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about Sophos Firewall is that, in some cases, it can be complex for advanced configurations. They have a user-friendly interface, but the documentation is sometimes not as clear as I would like, which leads to doubts in configuring more detailed aspects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos Firewall handles various security issues on the network, such as blocking malware and ransomware, as well as unauthorized access. Threats are detected and appropriate measures are taken, even before the problem reaches the network, thanks to advanced threat detection combined with deep packet inspection.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Sophos Firewall is its comprehensive approach to security, combining advanced threat protection with simple management. The integration with other Sophos solutions and its intuitive interface allows me to have more effective control over the network, without complications. Additionally, the ability to adapt to different network needs gives me the flexibility I seek.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Sophos Firewall can be complicated to configure at first, especially when it comes to adjusting advanced rules or managing complex policies. Although it has many useful features, the interface sometimes turns out to be a bit unintuitive and can cause confusion for less experienced users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos Firewall can have issues related to complexity in configuration and alert management, which could result in a steeper learning curve for me. However, this can also benefit me, as by facing these challenges, I can develop a deeper understanding of its operation, allowing me to configure more customized and effective solutions to enhance network security.
