Exploring Sophos: Endpoint, Perimeter and MDR Protection
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos acted like a real partner, during the whole process - from the first contact, during the implementation up to the after sales support.
What do you dislike about the product?
No SSL-Client for macOS (in development)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Permiter protection, remote access, internal webservices. All of these services are essential to provide the best user experience.
A smooth migration from the WatchGuard firewall to Sophos XG
What do you like best about the product?
An easy-to-use dashboard. Antivirus and firewall on the same cloud login

What do you dislike about the product?
The firewall rules and policies may seem confusing at first glance, but when you take the time to understand the process, you will realise how in-depth they are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A great cloud firewall with many security features. We use both Sophos Anti-Virus and the XG firewall, which together provide a high level of security. The dashboard offers in-depth details about protection, configuration and system status.

What do you like best about the product?
Interface of the sophos firewall is really cool which makes is easier to use. moreover, we have seen little to no latency and disruption in network
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, there are way too many false positives, which unnecessarily increase my workload as I am responsible to manage those alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i could manage multiple firewalls in groups and make the configuration streamlined for policy updates, which saves a lot of hassle and time
A Firewall that Gave us the network visibility that we need

Product Stability, Network Visibility and Product Support,

VPN Logs, Policy Based Routing (Previously configured into the rule and now moved to Gateway Management).

Sophos firewalls are gaining a foothold in large companies.
Sophos has a lot of documentation and very good phone support.

To say the least, sometimes support sends links to guides without asking if you need help.

The onboarding process was smooth with paid support hours.

Some of the features and items that were learned from older firewalls had a different place and purpose in the new UI with the new firewall configurations.

Its keeping us secure by not causing issues to solve.
Sophos UTM to XGS: A worth migration
What do you like best about the product?
We have been Sophos users since 2009, when the company was still Astaro. Their firewalls are so reliable that we have not gone anywhere since. Over the years, Sophos has introduced new hardware and improved interfaces, and we have made the necessary upgrades accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything. Some people complain about Sophos' prices, but when you have to protect your business, you cannot go cheap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos provides harden appliances that filter all Internet traffic and provides security and protection to our networks.

The hardware is reliable and easy to migrate and implement at EOL, as well as compatible with other system.

A spectacular Firewall and core of your network experience
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos XGS Firewalls provide a robust, reliable, and resolute method for securing a network while providing several major features all in one piece of stellar hardware. With the hardware upgrades to the XGS line, and the subsequent regular software improvements that get released, you have a device that does the work of what used to be 4 or 5 individual pieces of enterprise network hardware.
Specifically, I was able to consolidate my ISP load balancing, site-to-site VPN tunnel, packet shaping, and client VPN devices all down into a singular powerful device at the front. This saves time, consolidates knowledge, and provides cost savings to any institution who wishes to adopt it as their primary firewall device.
That, coupled with a consolidated support structure through Sophos all contributes to my favorite components of the device.
