How has it helped my organization?

Managing active directories and middle directories, including users and accounts, is of utmost importance for organizations. 

This entails implementing protective measures, enabling conditional access, and ensuring data security, among other essential aspects.

Server 2012 R2 is fine tuned version of 2012 with many improvements - can be deployed different ways

What do you like best about the product?
Has the excellent Hyper-V virtualisation hypervisor
Can check your system with Best Practice Analyser to see if its optimised
easy to add extra roles to your sever
extremely scalable for small or big requirements
Can be deployed by premade images using Azure or other providers if you are using it on the cloud
What do you dislike about the product?
Has the unpopular eccentric User interface used by Windows 8.1, although slightly improved as Start button is back which 2012 and 8 didn't.
About to be end of life this (2022) year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides the base operating system needed for my SQL server database system
