Die CI/CD-Pipeline ist eines der besten Merkmale der Plattform. Versionskontrolle, gleichzeitige Verwaltung des Projektquellcodes und verschiedener Zweige sind einfach und nahtlos. Eine sichere und benutzerfreundliche Schnittstelle.
Was gefällt Ihnen nicht? the product?
Das Rebasing und das Zurücksetzen auf einen vorherigen Commit könnten besser in der Benutzeroberfläche bereitgestellt werden. Es könnte bessere Funktionen zur Lösung von Merge-Konflikten oder CI-CD-Konflikten geben.
Was ist ein Problem? the product Solving und wie profitieren Sie davon?
Es ist wirklich vorteilhaft, verschiedene Versionen des Quellcodes für ein Projekt zu verfolgen. Einfach, das Projekt mit einer nahtlosen CI-CD-Pipeline-Integration zu erstellen und bereitzustellen. Es ist auch gut für die Peer-Review von Code in der Entwicklungs- oder QA-Umgebung durch Teamkollegen vor der Bereitstellung in der Produktion.
Best project management and DevOps Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The features which I like the most are: Version controlling, CICD pipelines, Review code and Managing projects. GitLab is very reliable, secure and easy to use. GitLab also integrates with software for CI/CD pipelines which helps in the Automation test cycle as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple file editing through the UI is not straightforward. Also, it is very challenging to manage the conflicts when we have multiple merge requests from the development team for multiple separate branches to the main branch. This slows down the work cycle a bit (sometimes).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Introducing the tool to any developer is easy as we have very good documentation. Hence the onboarding process is much easier now. Code versioning and managing the repository is much better than our previous tool.

Die Leichtigkeit, Code mit meinen Kollegen zu teilen, ist erstaunlich! Ich muss nur einen einfachen MR erstellen und mein ganzes Team kann meinen Code ansehen. Auf diese Weise können sie eine schnelle Code-Überprüfung durchführen,

Die Merge-Request-Ansicht kann manchmal ziemlich unübersichtlich sein. Ich würde es begrüßen, wenn GitLab eine Option zum Squashen von Commits über die Benutzeroberfläche bieten würde. Es kann mühsam sein, wenn ich es über das Terminal mache.

Code ist einfach zu teilen und sehr einfach zu überprüfen, dank der Ansicht, die es ermöglicht, Kommentare zu hinterlassen. Die Verbindung von GitLab mit Jira lässt mich Aufgaben besser verstehen, da ich immer nur wenige Klicks von den Aufgabenanforderungen entfernt bin.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to configure the pipeline if you have a basic knoledge
What do you dislike about the product?
The server is slower and some times loose view with build managemen,t if network is low (need strong internet)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create pipeline from dev to testing and deployment for back end apps
Another best choice for continuous deployment after jenkins
What do you like best about the product?
We currently shifted to gitlab for our CI CD activities to achieve our continuous deployment goal, although there are many features which are better then the jenkins but for me the UI makes a bigger diffrence.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much to dislike but there are some lag observed while deploying the code to the production.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using GitLab for continuous integration and continuous deployment of changes to the production environment.

Easy to manage the code. GUI is very nice and simple to use.

Nothing. Still there are rooms for improvement

Easy to integrate with jenkins and automation problem resolved.

What do you like best about the product?
Gitlab helps throughout the SDLC process, from planning, bringing teams together, secure code and deployments on the cloud and also proper Issue and developments tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
Gitlab sometimes feels laggy, especially when we prepare to Build over CI/CD, it takes too much time, even with good servers. Also it should have extensive support of other cloud services like AWS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great collaborative tool that allows us to manage the projects and ensure the progress is on schedule. The reporting function is very helpful for communications within the organization.

Meistens für CI/CD-Zwecke habe ich GitLab verwendet. Es unterstützt auch Docker, was ein großer Vorteil ist.

Für CI/CD bietet es ein Linux-System, während Azure eine Windows-Maschine bereitstellt, was für mich etwas schwieriger zu verstehen ist, da Linux im Vergleich zu Windows.
Was ist ein Problem? the product Solving und wie profitieren Sie davon?
GIT LAB bietet ein Speicher-Repository, das uns hilft, unseren Code für jede neue Version zu speichern. Zweitens hilft es sehr, die Automatisierungstestfälle auszuführen, da es eine Linux-Maschine bereitstellt, auf der wir unsere Testfälle jederzeit ausführen können.
Die Benutzerfreundlichkeit entspricht Github mit einer viel saubereren Benutzeroberfläche.
Was gefällt dir am besten the product?
Gitlab ist äußerst benutzerfreundlich und einfach zu bedienen.

leicht zu verstehen. Früher habe ich GitHub verwendet, wo ich oft das Layout der Einstellungen oder wo was ist, vergessen habe. Gitlab macht dies durch das sauberere UX einfach.
Was ist ein Problem? the product Solving und wie profitieren Sie davon?
Ich benutze GitLab für Versionskontrolle und CI/CD. Wir verwenden GitLab sogar auch zum Erstellen von Projekten.
