Automation Anywhere: Best RPA tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best RPA tools worked on in my carrier.
Easy to create bots, just drag and drop action items.
Mainly I am using this tool for all monitoring tasks where users get notifications automatically whenever issues arrive. Before our users have to monitor it manually and send emails to users to fix it but now everything is automated.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes email send option will not work though I mentioned the correct exchange server name and ports.

RPA reduces the labor cost and helps in our day-to-day work and makes our lives more easy and convenient. with the help of RPA we can do big work in less time and with cost-effective process. and less involvement of humans.

It's a great field to learn about not many people knows the area I think it's not been marketed like it should and we need to encourage more RPA Knowlege than before - that's the downfall I see so fr

I don't find so far any problem with RPA but there needs to be more online education must be available and easy to access and cheap for the people to gain knowledge about it

AA is providing great opportunity to learn RPA with free of cost. Fantastic learning experience.

I have created a lot of bots in the community edition. While Recording or Capturing the page, It is getting errors.

What do you like best about the product?
Here are the things that I like with the new A360:
1) Cloud platform, needless to say, it's very hassle-free to use. You have both the control room and workbench at one place.
2) Lots of new features added.
3) Integration is made easy with other technologies like SAP, Salesforce, BPM etc.
4) Ability to design flow using diagram.
5) Introduction of new variables.

What do you dislike about the product?
Here are the things that I dislike with the new A360:
1) Code migration from automation anywhere v11 to A360 required lot of changes even if the utility tool says that the V11 code is 90+ compatible. More rework had to be made in codes and its becomes very complex with reusable components.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I am working on projects that use automation anywhere A360 to automate SAP, Excel, and Web applications. Working with SAP is very easy with newer versions, as A360 allows us to perform UI automation, Run Scripts, and object cloning. Also, with the introduction of "Excel Advance" packages, now A360 gives a lot of functionality and control over excel operations, making the Bot more compatible with various use cases.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Automation Anywhere for the past five years, and trust me, it is the best tool for Automating a complex Business Process. The best thing is that you can easily record the manual steps using inbuilt records in Automation Anywhere and then quickly make the changes in recorded steps to make it dynamic.

What do you dislike about the product?
No inbuilt functionality is provided in AA to automate SAP Applications in previous versions. So, in order to automate SAP application, metabot need to be downloaded from Bot Store.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it to automate the Complex Business process, which requires a lot of human manual effort. Using automation, it becomes effortless to perform the process steps, which earlier involves a lot of time and effort. You can easily schedule the Bot at any time without any human intervention.
It also reduces the chances of human error, which makes it more efficient for a large and complex process. Multi Bot Architecture is a valuable feature that we can use for processing large amounts of Customer Data

Best features available in this tool. Every day it's making my work very easy and simple.
I mainly configured bots in my timesheet follow-up process. Before one separate user needs to follow up with others and get this done manually. That time was facing many issues like users not submitting timesheets on time and wrong entries. But now everything is automated including verification. This is an example. I am using this tool in many places.
This tool totally reduced user dependency. Cost and time-saving machine.

Creating bots in this RPA tool is very easy just drag and drop available action items to create bots.
Mainly we are using this tool for onboarding candidates. As per our company workflow, I've created a bot and implemented it. Now everything is automated and also all work completing in time without any issues.

Still, I am exploring this RPA tool. There are many options available in this tool. Till now I didn't face any issues. The supporting team is also very friendly.

Automation Anywhere is the best RPA platform that I have used. The stability and reliability of processes developed using Automation Anywhere is way better than any other RPA tool.
It is easy to use and install. Since it's a low-coded technology anyone with basic programming knowledge and logic can use it.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much to dislike about AA. However, the new UI in automation anywhere cloud version(A360) is very chunk. The developer studio is not very comfortable for the user. If the code is lengthy it is difficult to seek through the code. And also the search functionality within the code is not efficient. It would have been better if the code editor is more professional and looks like a text editor(similar to AA V11).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly I used it for web scrapping, excel automation, web automation, etc. One of the significant processes that I have used AA for developing a PowerPoint presentation containing data from different platforms. Even though AA doesn't have inbuilt features to interact with Microsoft POwerPoint, I used custom VB scripts. The process is scheduled on monthly basis. It creates 90 ppts with an average of 1000 slides. The man-hours for doing the same is 2-3 weeks but the AA bot reduced it to 48 hrs. The total cost savings is very huge and the business is highly impressed with the process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Automation Anywhere is an amazing tool. It is the most efficient RPA tool once you implement it. There is no going back to any other tool once you are familiar with it. It is simple to work within any system in the new cloud edition of AA; all you need is an internet connection. You can integrate with any 3rd party tools and we can write custom DLLs if we want. The AA support team is inclined to assist 24/7.
