Automation Anywhere- A beginners guide
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the easy drag and drop option, easy-to-use feature, less programming-oriented, easy to learn tools in order to perform business actions. Understanding is improved due to the flowchart way of representation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to say the UI features could be a bit improves as compared to other RPA tools such as for Blue prism, and provide better in-depth listing tools for business review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems which we did as a practice was extracting the details for eg the NSE stock exchange table extracting the details of the stocks of the companies there and reading those data into MS excel. The benefits was how easy and efficient the working becomes with the deployment of bots and less time taken as compared to when we humans try to perform that task.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing that I like about Automation Anywhere-RPA is that it is so easy to use and navigate that even a beginner can use it with ease. It has high security compared to its other competitors and also offers a 30 Days free trial which is just awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Automation Anywhere-RPA is a complete solution and is the best in the market. Like its said everything has room for improvement so I think that you can improve in the debugging field.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Automation Anywhere-RPA we save lot of manual hours and automate critical and complicated process for easy operation. This in turn increase our productivity and hence increase our profits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just go for it. It is the best option available in the market.

What do you like best about the product?
I like its versatile feature of using it on the cloud without hassling about installing any software. Anyone can create a process on the browser and even run it from the browser. Almost all the package for developing the bot is pre-installed so that very cool feature of AA.
What do you dislike about the product?
To learn or to utilize the full feature of AA you need to have the Enterprise version which I think is not good for learners

I am developing a task to download invoice data from mail then extract the data from invoice documents using OCR technology then export data in to the SQL database

Since AA is adopting the cloud and adding new tools such as Discovery, It gives ample opportunity for learning.

Plateform A360 is not stable, sometimes starts behaving weird

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have done multiple AA - RPA projects for various clients and It helps the clients on cutting the FTE cost and meeting the SLA.
Apart from this due cloud being the base for A360 - it gives the organisation centralised control, which they can use to apply analytics and work on process improment.

Fortunate that I got a change to know the Automation Anywhere and learn the same.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful and must appreciate thing is Automation Anywhere Support and the way they are handling the customer need. They are very much patient with understanding the customer's problem and expectations. Always tend to fulfill customer needs and explain all the aspects in a detailed way so that customers can understand the situation and product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The SLA time of the ticket. It would be great if we get the response a little earlier. We will be able to create SEV-1 always, but most of the tickets that we are creating are critical and affect the business progress. For SEV-2 also we are waiting for 2 days to get a response and by the time the issues are escalated in another level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To reduce the number of people involved in the same process for so many hours is reduced and the bot is taking control. The major problem is the time taken for a single process with multiple resources. By using Automation Anywhere we have overcome this problem.

Good, however v11 is better suited to older applications, IQBot needs alot more material for support

AA360 is very suitable for web handling and navigation using domx path.
The recorder I find is less useful than v11's object cloning and capturing screens, specifically financial applications built on delphi.

IQBot needs a lot of work in terms of support, We need detail documents on how AA uses DB's for learning instances, as when we upgrade control room we lose all our learning instances.
The issue was resolved by AA's technical team over the course of 3 sessions that were 3 hours or longer.
