AA delivers a powerful yet easy to use platform for automating complex workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Right from the beginning the AA technical and account teams are focused on understanding the mission and business use case to tailor the platform offerings specific to customer needs. They work closely with the customer to build out a proof of technology which makes it easy to comprehend the AA platform capabilities in action through a use case that customer is familiar with. The platform itself it powerful yet simple and extremely easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a downside or dislike as such, but in the roadmap it would be nice to see additional focus on integration - preferably API based integration with other tools and technologies such as AI and ML based models that customers might already have developed in their eco systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started with a simple use case to automate repetitive and manual Help Desk support procedures. The AA platform allows to easily automate any repetitive and manual tasks through bots thus freeing up resources for other high skill tasks. We moved on to automate complex application workflows that require web scrapping and searching to automate parts of those workflows thus saving considerable manual effort and time resulting in workforce efficiencies.

I would highly recommend AA RPA platform for everyone looking for adopting RPA for cost and workforce efficiencies

What do you like best about the product?
The implementation of Meta bots in AA is what I feel the best in AA and makes it unique from other RPA tools.
Control room have almost all the settings which is much better than BP or UiPath

I was able to automate various works in finance and accounting department for my client.
These automations helped my clients in completing their tasks by bots as scheduled with more accuracy and helping them saving their time and effort.

AA provide partner portal to learn new concepts in AA.It keeps up to date with latest concepts and versions of AA.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used its metabot, taskbot functionality to provide solution to customer. I worked on SAP with help of SAP DLL which we can use through metabot logic

Stability of the BOT designed in Automation Anywhere is one of its important feature. In addition , other than other automation tools automation anywhere helps to achieve several complex mechanisms which are not possible with other tools

For the initial learners Automation Anwhere is a bit tough to understand and the Orchestrator also seems a bit complex when compared to other tools

We have faced several issues in regards with the log details available in AA which makes it a bit difficult to track the issues. But the benefits is once coded we are seeing very less defects when deployed in production

AA RPA is very user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature of AA RPS is that it easy to learn and implement in real world. There is no coding skill required for to learn AA RPA. It can be implemented immediately as commands and user interface are self explanatory. There are several useful functions related to excel, and pdf processing. I like option to create IQ bots in free community edition.
What do you dislike about the product?
AA RPS community version does not have all useful feature. Lets as I can not extract PDF form data from multi page pdf file in community edition without splitting the pdf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving problem related to prepare requisition from a large multi page PO by extracting data to excel. I am also using RPA to extract invoice data from pdf files.

Lots of customization options, easy to get into but deep enough to do exactly what we need

Not exactly my area, but it is very expensive compared to some of the other tools or in-house tools we were using previously

Intricate automation problems that we just weren't able to solve via built in tools to Windows. e.g. having a job trigger when a file landed in a specific location, or chaining other jobs together in a batch

If you don't have complex automation tasks, probably not for you when other products will do some of that for free

Humans make minor error every time using Automation anywhere Robotic process automation helps reduce human error by eliminating copy-and-paste mistakes from entering the same data into multiple systems. It helps in increasing the throughput by completely automating tasks in seconds or minutes to deliver higher value for your customers. RPA helps in improving decision in real time by learning from past decisions, simulations or real-time data to improve the accuracy of your decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike as of now. As soon as I find something out this section is going to get updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaining business agility as it helps to quickly adapt to changing conditions and keeping the business on track. Helps in automation with scale by deploying hands-off processing while managing cases and exceptions.

What do you like best about the product?
End to End Solution could be made easily with the help of Automation Anywhere bots. Also we could make each and everything automated and reduce lot of manual effort and time. This is very user friendly software which helps to make various reports which is very helpful to analyze the data. This software keeps your data safe with it's end to end security implemented in it. All in All this is highly recommended to use for every organization who are putting their lot of efforts in manual things and want to overcome by turning it to automated one.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I have used it till now , I found it's set up somewhat difficult for me. If you are a software programmer then you need not to use your coding skills but at the same time a programmer will not be utilizing his skills what he has actually. So there should be some Developer Related coding module in it so that Developer might not be uneasy after sometime. Also I think this is bit costly as per the other software/tools available in the market .

I have automated some of the manual end to end Flows in my previous organization. In my previous organization HR team was manually preparing the salary of employees manually in the excel sheets. I made a solution for them to prepare the automatic generated salary slips and salary calculations on monthly and yearly basis financials statements.

AA is one of the powerful tool in market. But it's not in peak because of it's license cost. It's huge. There are no community edition. (There are trail available but for limited period)
Also AA doesn't have any academy or proper structured blogs to go through / learn. There are few E-learning available but those cannot give a detailed knowledge. There are some third party tutorials available, but we cannot perform automation and practice.

A few applications take more time for loading when integrated.
Declaring the datatype of variables is challenging.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personally speaking I am impressed with the Automation Anywhere Community Edition. They are a little late to the market, after all UiPath released their community edition a couple of years ago, but they have had time to think about it and the result is a very strong offering.
Firstly, you don’t just get RPA, you also get their AI engine (IQBot) and their Analytics package (Bot Insight). There are some limitations on IQBot, but not unfairly, it’s still a strong overall package of capabilities.
