Ease of reusing the RPA codes
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of coding practice! I am able to use design the codes in such a way that I can use them for multiple processes. the error handling easy very easy and provides details with screenshots.
Once the parameters/ variables are defined, processing steps with same operations can be used for other parameters too. it is very easy to update parameters from an input excel/ csv file which gives a free hand to user to update the variables - values without even changing the codes.
Connection with different set of tools with APIs is very good. this ensures the less time being spent on error handling and runs the process smoothly

What do you dislike about the product?
in the new upgrade AA 11.3 version of AA, Excel is not working as per expectations. first row in excel is not being able to read from AA and updates to the existing codes is needed. once this is fixed, it will easier to reuse the codes in 11.3 too!
The object cloning - being one of the amazing this from AA fails sometimes abruptly in unattended mode. we have been able to rectify this with error handling though

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are automating the operations and reporting in processes. this involves heavy use of ETL tools and excel/ databases. when any tool is used across different processes, we can use the same codes (used for one process) and complete the development asap. this allows to spend more time on error handling and testing. we have been able to automate 10+ processes and all are in production.
there are multiple occasions where processes have reduced their timelines and saved lot of mundane manual efforts. one of the process is saving ~2k manual hours per quarter.

Understanding the journey of automation for other peers, updated with the latest tools and offerings from AA
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. Just the stability of deploying the code. Attended vs unattended behaviors.

Reducing manual effort in system runs, QC the data and processing.
Amazing platform!
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is designed for non-IT people to easily create bots. Also, it integrates very well we IBM Business Automation Workflow which allows to integrate human task and mix it with bots to create real life processes. I believe it's a great platform to create digital workers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We feel that it would be great to include the Bot Store directly in the product (or having a way to download & install the bots available in the bot creator).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main business issue we are trying to solve using Automation Anywhere is business interoperability. We have a lot of cloud services that don't necessary talk to each other and Automation Anywhere gives us the flexibility to do it easily.
I use it to simplify the way we sync our pipeline management systems. We are also exploring the usage of RPA to streamline to preparation of the monthly sales reports as well as doing simple IT administration tasks.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Deploying RPA technology may sound simple...but needs to be planned properly. On our side, we use a method called the Garage Method to modernize our processes.

the automation anywhere tool allows an easy creation of bot with the recording and task editor

I dislike not being able to have a search menu for draggable functions, not to search specifically.

Object Cloning is very slow.
Many development tools like V studio allows uses to compress block of code..(Eg. using + Sign to expand code block.) this feature should be added in AA tool ,Because many times code goes to 500 lines and it becomes very difficult to manage..

I would recommend this product to others because the no. of features like IQ bots ,Different language compatibility (Python,java,jscript,vbscript) it provides and AA support always try to support as much as they can when it comes to development.

What do you like best about the product?
Support is available all the days and response is quick for high priority ticket. Support engineers are really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The trail & error method of solving the issues. Sometime AA engineers could not describe why it worked before and why it's not working now and what they did to make it work. This undermines the confidence on product. There is clear cut information about the features and condition/logic in which it will certainly works or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issues with metabot, IR, object cloning, scheduling , environment changes. It helped to resolve the issues faster and resume the business as usaul.

Up until this point in time, I haven't found anything that I dislike about the product.

What do you like best about the product?
The Best Growing AI/RPA, Best in bringing Human-Friendly interface. Coding in Automation Anywhere is fun. I like to be a part in it :)

When I got to know about Automation Anywhere tool and when i started working on it. I had lot of Connectivity issue, Now the Performance on the new version is assured by AA

What do you like best about the product?
I'm the RPA Architect so i primarly deal with the control room and back end side of things. What i like best is the easy setup especially with the migration from version to version. On top of that whenever there is an issue it is easy to get support on the matter
What do you dislike about the product?
The client software is a little limited in some cases. It's more or less coding with training wheels which limits the capabilities of bots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarly the Money and Time saved more than pays for the platform but the most benificial has been error reduction from user error.
